The "front desk" which the previous reviewer refers to is not the same group of people who answer the phones and make the appointments. Vici uses a call center. I agree the call center is unreliable and often rude, but onsite staff is 90% terrific! Vici is a reasonably priced salon for the Brookfield area. Sure you can get your hair done less expensively, but you wouldn't get the atmosphere or the Aveda product line.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, skilled stylists and estheticians

I find some of the stylists in the salon to be very gossipy, which I didn't care for. I have always bounced around between the master stylists, and they've either cut my hair nice and color was just so-so, or vice versa. I haven't found one stylist here that does everything well. I thought because of the higher prices I'd find what I was looking for, but unfortunately not so. I've also sat a long time waiting past my appointment time for many booked appointments. Seems they are always behind. I prefer the privacy of Kingshead in downtown / east side of Milwaukee to this place, and service is up to par. Kingshead offers private rooms for each stylist. Their clientelle consists largely of the male population as they do a lot of hair restoration procedures, but don't let that steer you away. I use a long time stylist at Kingshead and she does a spectacular job on my hair.
Pros: very trendy and upscale
Cons: gossipy, stylists who do what they want to do, not what you want them to do, appts never on time, not worth the $$$ that you pay
