FABULOUS! I live in Wales and have always wanted good Chinese food close by. Obviously I spent no time looking as there is an AMAZING choice moments from my door step!

I went to Emperor's Kitchen looking for some spicy food as I wasn't feeling well. I was greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant which was clean and welcoming. I chose were I wanted to sit. My server Jason was at my table within moments and was EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant. I wanted something spicy from the appetizer menu he suggested Hot and Sour soup. I love this typically when I go for Chinese, but don't often like the consistency. Soup arrives and it was FRESH and DELICIOUS! No goupy consistency, just DELICIOUS! I also ordered Beef and Broccoli on Jason's recommendation and asked for it to be hot. Not only did this arrive quite quickly, but I also received a sauce tray with hot mustard, chili sauce and sweet and sour sauce so I could doctor my food the way I wanted it. The entree arrived with FRESH broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. So FRESH you could taste the flavors of the veggies.

Highly recommend going here. I'm glad I wasn't feeling well so that I took the time to look for new options. I'll be back and I'll continue to recommend going here. Thank you!!!

Awful. Overcooked, over salted, over oiled. The Taco Bell of American Faux-Chinese food.

Without a doubt the rudest staff and management of any restaurant I have ever been in...and I have dined throughout the US, Europe, Japan and China. Slow service, arrogant staff.

Always Great.. I have been going for years and have never been disappointed. The service is very helpful and the menu is quite extensive. There is tons to choose from and they are always willing to substitute and work with you so you get exactly what you want. Highly recommended!

Never again. Normally pretty good, We had a bad meal last night, which normally I wouldn't think was to big of a deal, but the owner came out with a piece of the rotting chicken on a fork, grossly ate it in front of us and said there was nothing wrong with it. Then when we left she made a comment that my wife just must not have had a taste for it. I do not know anyone who has a taste for rotten chicken, but I suppose I could be wrong. I have been a chef for over 20 years and know bad meat when I taste it - Like I said, normally one bad meal would not ruin a place for me, but when the owner acts the way she did, I have to wonder what else is going bad in the kitchen. Needless to say we will never go back.

Sweet sour shrimp. I really like sweet sour shrimp and the first thing that was bad was that it was very dry-hardly no sauce at all, and then they used baby shrimp like you would use for a salad which after having alot of breading on was very dry and tough to eat, very, very disappointed and I don't know what happened as it used to be good, only Chinese restaurant I went to out this way, so I won't order that anymore!! I they must be experiencing economical affects.

Realistic view of restaurant.. I am like 'jzunker', I have been coming to Emperor’s Kitchen for over 15 years. Emperor’s Kitchen is a great Chinese restaurant located a strip mall off of Golf Road. While the location may make you think twice about walking in, it is some of the better Chinese I’ve had.

I’ve had dishes that range from General Tso and Seseme Chicken to Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and Cashew Chicken and never have been let down. I also order egg rolls and crabmeat ragoons every time I’m there and I’ve never had issues with the food.

While I can agree with jrichard1, that the food can get a little greasy at times, but isn’t deep fried / fried food supposed to be greasy (we are not eating at subway here)? I would say that it isn’t any more greasy than any other Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. Second if you wanted Fresh Chinese food, wouldn’t you dine in versus carry out? Giving food time to sit, will take the quality out of any food.

Over all the only downfall of this location is that it can get slow during busy dinner and lunch periods. It’s understandable as it’s the only Chinese restaurant that is in central Delafield, but if you plan your timing accordingly, then you should have no issues. – Also a good bonus is the lunch buffet they have. Great quick food for lunch periods.

Best Chinese Food anywhere. I have been going to the Emporer's Kitchen for over 20 years and I have never had a bad meal.

Over that time, I have tried just about everything on the menu and haven't found a dish I didn't like, and that wasn't done with perfection. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in the Milwaukee area and elsewhere and this is definitely the best. Their produce and seafood is the freshest. The meat is non-greasy and fresh. The atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff is friendly. If you have to wait it is because it is so popular.

avoid at all possible. Feb.14th 2008 Wife get's home, bath drawn, candle's lit, and dinner ordered at 4:42. Pick up time to be 20-30 minutes. At restaurant at 5:12, 5:20 told them about my order after wait of 8 minutes and 3 people in front of me needing to be helped. 5:51 finally got food. Home by 6:00 wife has been waiting for a nice dinner and I was waiting in the restaurant for 39 minutes!

Got food home and it was burnt chicken that was full of grease and tasteless. The pepper steak was 85% pepper 5% onion and 10%, at best, what can only be describe as steak that did not taste much like steak.

The veg. egg rolls where stuffed with grease.

I had $45 worth of junk food that was cook by a bunch of kids. This was worse then a "China Buffet". If I could give it no stars I would. Will never eat at that place again.

I wanted to treat my wife to a nice valentines day diner and what I got was just a good effort to be a good husband.

Next time I will get much better asian food at the noodle company across the street, which I have only ate at once. I also suggest Lemon Grass in oconomowoc. Their food is so much better because they try to cook healthy. emporer's kitchen makes you feel blouted and lethargic.

I have eaten at Lemon Grass several times and they have never failed me. Try them first. It is worth the extra 10 minute drive from Delafield.
