A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969.. In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

Good old fashioned menu, Good customer service, almost always busy.. Great food and service, I'm partial to their soups and sandwiches. Typical family style place, always bustling and noisy.

GREAT COMFORT FOOD!. Although the breakfast steak isn't marinated the same way it is in the southern cracker barrel's and you actually have to request the grits up here in WI, it's still great and they still have the best chicken & dumplings I have ever had in my life! Prices low, and the fireplace stoked in the winter. I love this place!
