Editorial Review for Jerry's Old Town Inn – by Citysearch Staff
The Scene
Paper bibs, wet-naps, and stainless steel bone-buckets attempt to keep patrons clean, but whether sauced with smoky "Original," spicy Cajun, or sweet Jamaican, you'll leave with a little sauce and a smile on your face.
The Food
Corn-fed steer tenderloin, Cajun shrimp, and hickory-smoked chicken are served by themselves or in combination with a half-rack of ribs. All dinners include a complimentary crock of baked french onion soup, a one-pound baked potato, and a loaf of hot bread. Add some of the best onion rings in the area and you'll see why sauce on the face is no disgrace at Jerry's. If you order one thing, try the pork-loin etouffee.

A group of only 5 just returned home from dinner and I guess we should have paid attention to the many people who told us to NOT go to dinner at Jerry's. We have ate at Jerry's a number of time and sure we have had to wait. Good food takes time--- occasionally. But, come on 1 1/2 hours!!! I asked to speak to the "manager" and all that came to the table after 15 minutes was a very rude ^%*$% that would not even listen to us as we tried to tell her how one of our meals was not cooked all the way. This has to be one of the WORST dining experiences any of us have every had. To top it off, the "manager" was the owner's daughter. When we asked a different waitress from another table if a female we pointed out was the owner, she replied that it was, but good luck getting her to talk to you was the response from her. It seems that the owner and the daughter must have gotten their heads together before coming to our table. FYI... from my chair had a clear view of the door to the kitchen and the hall to the bar. And to top it all off we stopped to ask a group of 4 outside how their dinner was and guess what... they had just as bad experience but we not as outspoken as we were. As much as we "used to like" Jerry's, we will not be returning. I have to say the previous owners would not have allowed what happened tonight to take place. This is the first time that I have had an experience this bad that I felt like I had to make my opinion known to unsuspecting patrons.
Pros: DECENT FOOD
Cons: PRESENT OWNERS/MANAGEMENT

I Don't know where the 2 boneheads that just reviewed Jerry's came from or if they ever get out much but I dine at many high end restaurants and Jerrys, by far, has the best ribs ever. Yes, it is a busy place, but would you rather be at a restaurant that is busy or with no one at all? Go to George Webb's if you want it quiet. The service, food, drinks are always excellent. If you love the old owner so much, go marry him.
Pros: service, food, drinks
Cons: none!!!!!!!!!!!
