Diappointing Service with Tuxedo Rentral. Both of our daugheters-in-law purchased their dresses at Amelishan with a good, positive experience. So, the groom felt that the service for tuxedo rental would be just as good. Not so. After picking up tuxes, our son's shirt didn't fit and shoes were one size too big, wrong style and a Wide. These were returned the next day when we were busy getting to leave town for the wedding. The day of the wedding I got a call saying that one of the man's hems was down and all of the vests had threads hanging off of them. These were snipped, hem was pinned up. The men wearing the tuxes felt that they didn't fit well over all. When the tuxes were returned and problems explained, the man accepting the tuxes at Amelishan did nothing. This was a very disappointing experience for 164.95 a pop. Terrible customer service!

Buyer Be Aware. My daughter purchased a dress from Amelishan and waited the usual amount of time for it to come in. When it came in, the organza in the back of the dress was all bunched up on my daughters hip. It looked terrible, the staff assured us that it was no problem, it would all be taken care of when she came in for her alterations. Four months before the wedding was the alterations appt., when we mentioned the problem to the alteration lady, she said "there's nothing I can do about that , that's how the dress was made, besides when your going down the isle, everyone will be looking at your face, not the dress" WHAT!!!!!! That's the first thing everyone looks at. She could see I was upset and to humor me she popped off one of the buttons and says "now, what do you want me to do." I'm not a confrontational person, upset and unsure what to do, we left the store after the fitting. My daughter and I talked about it and decided to make an appt. with Stone Manor Bridal in Cedarburg. They were wonderfully accommadating. We were able to purchase a beautiful dress in time for the wedding. After this purchase, we went back to Amelishan and picked up the dress. We are now stuck with a horrible dress that I would never sell to another bride, not to mention, we're out the $100 alteration deposit. Amelishan should of sent that dress back for repair or replacement when it came in. I know they would of charged us to fix that dress. They made their money, they don't care. Live and Learn......

When purchasing a bridal dress from Amelishan be aware of policies. You only get a 10% discount if you purchase a dress the day of your appt., don't be pressured, make sure it's "The One". Also be aware if you purchase any kind of accessories and find something you like better anywhere else, you cannot get a refund, you get an "in store credit."

THE WORSE SERVICE EVER! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. I would not recommend this store to my worse enemy. Not only did they provide horrible customer service, they wanted to charge $50 just to look at your dress for alterations. When we received the dresses after they were ordered, they were all too big, off course, because they wanted the alterations and the extra cash. The dresses fit perfectly when we originally had them on and ordered them. Upon pick up, the dresses all required alterations.

They did not notify the wedding party when the pick up date was and when we arrived they charged each of us a $5/day late fee. The entire wedding party spent over $2,000 in the store and they had the nerve to charge a late fee. Give me a break!

One of the dresses' zipper was broke and took a month for them to repair it, when they told me it would be ready the next day.

Talk about a stress case and horrible service. Don't buy anything at this store unless you want to be prepared to get ripped off!

Best in the Milwaukee area. I recently was on the hunt for a bridal gown - considering my wedding is in less than 6 months - I needed a dress quickly. I went to many Milwaukee area bridal stores and was dissatisfied with the over-priced, limited selections. The minute I walked in Amelishan, a sales associate greeted me with a warm smile and was interested in helping find my dream dress. She allowed me to pick over a dozen dresses to try on. There was such a selection! This process was time consuming, and there was absolutely no complaining, negative body language, etc. by any of the sales associates. Once I found my dress, I was offered a variety of veils and accessories to go with my dress. I could not get over how incredibly affordable everything was! Amelishan was so wonderful and accommodating... my bridesmaids, groomsmen, and mothers' all got their attire there as well!

poor customer service. I went to this bridal salon on a recommendation from a friend. However, the service here was very poor. They cut the tags off the bridal gowns so you can't see the designer and they do not allow you to take pictures. This is America and brides should be able to shop around. The whole time I was there I felt like I was getting ripped off. Maybe I just got stuck with a poor sales person but the overall feel of the store was cold and unwelcoming. When I went in for a second time to re-try on certain dresses, it took 30 minutes to even get the dresses in the room and even then they weren't right. Do not recommend this store!

horrible place for alterations and customer service. I used to buy into the hype, until a relative received awful customer service. She was measured incorrectly for her dress, and the establishment blamed it on her weight gain. Several other professionals have informed us that the bride-to-be would have had to gained 40 lbs for this to be true. We have tried to resolve the problem, but have only received "snarky" comments from the owners, and a very unprofessional letter that is full of lies.

I realize these experiences are few and far between, but I simply cannot fathom why the owners didn't simply own up to the alteration worker's mistake and returned the new dress or used it as a floor model. Just doesn't fit in with the amazing customer service experiences we're heard from other people.

How sad. I hope this doesn't become the norm for Amelishan.

A Dream Come True. I went all over the place to find a wedding dress and I found a few that I liked. Then,my last stop of course,I went to Amelishan Bridal and I found the dress that I loved and needed to have!!! It was the dress that I dreamed of since I was a little girl. Well,I was running a little late on getting my dress so I was told it may not come in for alterations if even in time for the wedding. Then,the woman who was helping me,Jennifer,said she would talk to the owner and see what they could do. Well,they got it for me with plenty of time to spare. I know that if I didn't have this dress my special day wouldn't have been that special. All girls know that the dress is really the most important thing on their wedding day(I guess the groom is pretty important too,lol). So,thank you Amelishan for the great service and for having my beautiful dress in your shop. I have told many people about you and I will always keep your name in mind when I talk to a future brides.

Terrible Service.. I bought my prom dress from this store last year. They told me as I was buying the dress that they would not sell the same dress to a girl at my school, they even made me sign a document saying they would not do so. It turned out that they sold the EXACT same dress same color and everything to one of my best friends in my prom group. Now you can imagine how we both felt. Terrible. Then, we called and they claimed they never said a such thing. The woman was snotty and unfriendly. They commited false advertising and I would definitly never reccomend going here to shop for a dress.

Stay Away from them!!

a must visit!. I am the fourth woman in my group of friends who purchased their wedding dress from this bridal store. Fabulous customer service. The girl who helped me was very knowledgeable on the fabrics and styles of all the dresses. This place has a HUGE selection of just beautiful, up-to-date styles that range from low to high as far as cost. i really like that there are huge mirrors and a "pedestal" to stand on when trying dresses.

FANTASTIC PLACE!!! Definitely go to this one!. I really can't understand how anyone could give this place a negative rating. Maybe those people were in bad moods before going in. My sister and I both got our wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses there (not at the same time), so we've been there numerous times. The people were always EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. In fact, we went to a few other salons, but we always went back to Amelishan. We were both impressed with the family atmosphere, and we felt extremely comfortable. Some of the other places we went to were pretty snooty, but not Amelishan. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to every bride, bridesmaid, MOB, MOG, prom go-er, and anybody else.
