Do not waist your time and $$$ with
this company!!!
They came up to do a regular maintenance and supposedly replace the filters; however, after 2 weeks the work is still not done and they demand that we paid for this service anyway when the filters are not even changed yet. The bill???... it's outrageous! About $600!!!
Lack of Costumer service was the main reason for this bad review. The owner, Greg Smith was not only incompetent but rude and careless about new costumers. Stay away from this company! I wish I read all the other reviews before waisting $$$$ and time!
In 2006 I was excited about moving into my dream home which I had been spilling my life savings into for an 18 month building process. J. Anthony Homes was the home builder / general contractor. The problems I have been experiencing are not with the beautiful home that was built, but with the HVAC system within the home. I first noticed that it took a significant amount of time to cool the home to a desired temperature in spring of 2006. Upon noticing this issue, I contacted Quality Heating. On 05-26-06, a technician who came to my home stated that he had found a loose wire. I assumed that the problem was corrected, however I noticed no change in the cooling ability of the AC. It was still taking days to cool my home, if it cooled off at all. I again contacted Quality Heating that summer, and on 07-31-06 technicians were sent. The invoice I received, stated that a diagnostic test was performed and ducts were balanced. Again I noticed no change, and this is where my experience with Quality Heating went downhill. Over the next 3 springs and summers I made several calls to Quality Heating regarding the very same problem. Though I have no official record of these phone calls, I was met with cliche', almost rehearsed answers. "We have been out there and your system is working fine, " I was told via phone. I then assumed that maybe I was doing something wrong. I did everything I could possibly think of. I changed my window treatments, installed ceiling fans, and even installed a small window air conditioning unit in my upstairs bedroom to lessen the workload of the actual AC unit. In addition to all of these additional cooling aides, I followed the manufacturer and contractor maintenance and setting specs to the letter. In 2011, again tried to contact Quality Heating and they again sent a tech who filled out a report that told me to be more diligent controlling factors in my home that would affect the cooling process. This included advice regarding floor coverings and air flow such as "pushing more air upstairs" with ceiling fans. These were all things that I had already been doing. I was then sent what is basically a refusal of service letter from Quality Heating regarding further solutions to my AC ordeal. I was now stuck with a sub-par AC unit, and no one to fix it. Over the last year I have been put in contact with other AC specialists through friends and family, who are willing to solve a my AC issues for a cost. It is clear that if the job was done correctly the first time by Quality Heating, I would not be tortured by the summer heat in my dream home. Quality Heating is JUNK!!!
