NO CHERRY!!!. Love the bacon cheeseburgers, but I am giving only 2 stars because the staff does not understand the importance of my request for no cherries on the sundaes. Management: Please explain to the kids you hire the importance of safe food handling and food allergies, and that customers are not being difficult or merely picky. When customers make special requests, often times it is for valid and serious reasons, such as a health condition. I am deathly allergic to red dye #40, and my boyfriend is deathly allergic to cherries. We both carrry epi-pens for these reasons. I have lost a lot of money at Kopps because they always put the maraschino cherry on top, despite my request for them not to. The red dye drips all down the ice cream, so there is no picking off the cherry - the dye completely contaminates the ice cream, and I have to throw the whole thing away. Any little amount of Red #40 causes me to go into anaphylactic shock requiring a trip to the ER every time, so I can't just eat around the dye. I just threw away $9 yesterday - again!!!!! grrr!!! - because the Kopps kids/employees did not follow my very direct instructions and still put the maraschino cherry on top of my 2 oreo sundaes. Boo to Kopps for not taking customer health concerns seriously.

Always good food. My husband and I been to Kopps 4 times so far and each time it's been as good as the last.

Huge burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Love the frozen custard. I have tried 3 different flavors so far.

Also liked the root beer.

Great frozen custard!. Just moved to the area and kept seeing crowds at this location, finally walked in and tried the frozen custard. I am hooked! The frozen custard is creamy tasting and the portions are large (My wife and I share a 1 scoop waffle cone). I find the prices of the frozen custard to be reasonable/low, but I moved in from New York. I have yet to try anything else on the menu.

Kopps. Kopps is a very good place for eating and having a fun time. Have a big hamburger and alot of big Ice cream cones and really good food.

best burgers and custard, avoid friday and saturday nights. Kopps has excellent food. The french fries are especially delicious. Some people complain about slow service, but that is only because there is probably 30 orders before yours and Kopps makes all of their food fresh, so it takes time to cook. If you want 'OMG that was fast!' burgers, then go to McDonalds accrost the street. Also the burgers are not dry, maybe you should try different toppings on it or ask for extra butter. But personally I don't enjoy the onion rings they serve. The breading is terrible. But I give every other item on the menu an A+.

It's a must-stop for not only great custard, but huge and tasty burgers.. The Scene
This Brookfield locale is nicknamed "Temple Kopp's" for the sprawling space that would need only stained glass windows and a choir to convert it into a church. There's not much room inside, but plenty of shaded tables on the patio.

The Food
The dense custard is rich and flavorful. Traditional vanilla and chocolate are joined by a third, rotating flavor of the day. On Thursdays, a fourth flavor is added, with the proceeds going to Modjeska Theater (for kids' singing'dancing programs). Kopp's best includes caramel cashew, burgundy cherry and summer passion. Custard isn't the only mouth-watering draw--burgers and sandwiches are made to order. Don't get a double burger--the single is easily the size of two burgers anywhere else. The Buffalo chicken sandwich is unique, a chicken breast doused in semi-mild pepper sauce and topped with sauteed celery slices.

Mr. The burgers are so overated. I think that people just say that they are the best becaus other's say it. Taste one, they are basic, flat and dry. Their sister company, Elsa's does have much better burgers.
