Not Crazy About Nino's. Went to Nino's early this morning after seeing all the hoopla on the news about how good they were. I waited in line for 2 lbs of ham, 1 dozen rolls, and 1 sliced bread. They had 1 slicer going, and about 5 girls waiting for their ham to be sliced. I made a ham sandwich on one of the hard rolls......and I mean HARD rolls! It was so dried out that it was like eating the ham on a cracker. The ham was nothing special. The Italian bread was OK, but again nothing special. I think Sciortino's is 100% better, and as crowded as they get you never have to wait in line for 1/2 hour. Too bad, I was really hoping to find a good bakery in Washington County.

Best Bread, Best Subs, simply great food!. I am a frequent customer of Nino's bakery. Their bread is outstanding. I buy it as a nice side for dinner when having guests, to use as garlic bread, to use for dips.... It is made fresh everyday and is deeeelicious!

I also love their sub sandwiches. No other sandwich place compares. My favorite is the Italian (of course) but they have an option to build your own sub as well.

The canolis are delicious and the eclairs are huge! So delicious!

Their deli case has a unique variety not like any grocery store. You can even order things special that are not there ready to buy. Things like spedini and rice balls...the real authentic stuff! So you know you are always getting it fresh.

The ambiance is very appealing and it is family owned so they really take care of their customers. It's not just a chain like everything else popping up here and there. These people work hard at their life's business and take so much pride in it. Definitely someplace to try if you've never been there before.

Wonderful Bakery. This is for Fatkin's review. I don't know where you were, but you did not visit Nino's. They do not have carmel cannolis. It is a carmel cake, they have real cannolis with real ricotta in them. They do not sell bratwurst. they sell italian sausage. Their eclairs have been written up by Milwaukee Magazine as the best eclairs in Milwaukee. They have also been written up numerous times for their outstanding food. Obviously you have biased opinions maybe because you favor a different bakery and you see that Nino's is suberb and you are trying to bring them down. Get a Life! and stop trying to bring people's hard earned life & business' down. You really don't know what Italian is. Look it up!

It's not Italian. First of all I wouldn't call this place Italian. They sell bratwurst and other sausages. Just because you put pepperoni in your deli case and make Italian bread doesn't make you Italian. I bought an eclair from the refrigerator case and it tasted like onions. The crust of the bread was soft and tasted stale.

Instead of marking donuts "day old" they mark them "fresh yesterday".

I asked for Sfogliatelle and they had no idea what it was. They had carmel canoli.
