Great Facility & Staff. Our 2 children went here in 2008 and much of 2009. We loved the staff, management and facilities. Highly recommend them all. Only reason why we left (to go to a YMCA facility) was our 5 year old starting kindergarten and the new location was closer to our residence.

Only negative about the facility are the afternoon hours. Due to working downtown, pick-up by 5:30PM was unfortunately an issue on some occasions.

No idea what the negative reviewer was talking about. Nancy and her team run a tight ship and love/tolerate all.

I'd never go anywhere else. There is no place else I’d ever consider sending our 3 year old and 1 year old. The facility is fabulous and the teachers are so approachable and treat each child like an individual. I feel comfortable giving them special instructions when necessary and feel completely comfortable calling and checking in from time to time. Additionally, they played an essential role in my 3 year olds potty training. Every evening when our 3 year old gets home we openly talk about her day at school and she tells me about everything they did during the day from “circle-time”, art projects, music time, gym time, and playing outside.

Great Child Care. I have a three year old and nine month old that needed child care when I decided to go back to work part time. CCC is fairly close to my home so I decided to check them out. I toured it and thought it was a good place so that's where I decided to send my kids. I'm so glad I picked CCC for their daycare because now I love it! The teachers (except for one large, outspoken- who teaches the older kids anyway) are very nice people and good leaders. The kids get fun, healthy snacks, great play equipment, a nature center, nice classrooms, and fun learning activities. My three year old comes home with all different sorts of facts that he learns about during the day. My littler one is happy and healthy. My husband has stopped by to visit and check on the kids (like the experts say you should do) and both kids are happy and being cared for. My husband witnessed a teacher caring for a girl who scraped her knee and it made him feel very comfortable with the staff. The teacher cleaned it off, put it a band aid on it, asked the girl how it happened, and logged it in a book. They make sure all kids are happy and being safe. The daycare director is very sweet and all of the kids love her. The teachers are experienced. I can't say enough good things about CCC!

Awesome Experience. I have three children, ages five, four, and two. They are generally easy-going but can get quite rambunctious if there is lack of structure or not enough play-time. I have them in childcare two half days a week so I can run errands and get things done without the extra "little helpers". I tried two well known chain child care centers before a friend recommended Children's Community Center. I love it. The staff are very friendly and want your child to succeed in what they are doing. I've dropped in to say hi to my kids and they were having so much fun that they barely stopped their activities to say hi. The center has structured time and free time. I would highly recommend this child care center.

insensitive staff. I've overheard staff making derogatory remarks about children, their families and cultural groups and the norms of the families culture "I don't know what those people are feeding their kids for lunch but I wouldn't feed that to my dog". The director, Nancy said "we don't give regard to other peoples cultures or traditions. what they do at home is their own business. we have our own way of doing things here at CCC and if you don't like it I think you know what to do" as she gestures toward the door. I've also heard young staff members yelling down the hall and another literally dragging her screaming daughter without stopping or slowing to allow her to stand. I've heard staff breaking confidentiality telling other parents about a families personal business and several undocumented unreported injuries. The building and playground are great, most of the staff are wonderful but there are a few bad apples spoiling the bunch.
