Had A Very Nice Meal There !!. Went there just last night for the first time. We had a coupon from another restaurant website and it was a good decision to go

Definitely a cozy bar/restaurant atmosphere. There were a few couples, and a couple families. There was a group who just came in from being out in the rain for Halloween Tricks or Treats to have a nice pizza dinner.

The dining room is separate from the bar area and is enclosed with a doorway between the two.

We had a pizza, ie; large sausage with extra sausage, peperoni, onions, and mushrooms. Also some garlic bread with cheese, and a couple drinks (wine and soda).

The food and service was great and we will be going there again.

amazing. ive been going to north lake inn for 6 years, and i am not a local drunk, nor do i drink. i think the pizza is amazing, although i do think the pasta could use a little help. The service is better now that the older grouchy dark haired lady is gone, although i havent seen her work there in 2 years.

It is a small town bar, so of course there are going to be your local drunks, but ive never seen it get to crazy in there.

Depending on the time you get there the service is usually great along with the food!

Good food and service. We frequent this restaurant about once or twice a month and have only been living in the area and coming here for maybe the last six months, so I guess that averages about 12 times, eh? We always go on Saturday night and some nights are busier than others. We have tried several dishes in addition to the pizza. The pizza is really good and they don't seem to skimp on the toppings. The pasta dishes are pretty large in portion size and although maybe not entirely ethnic Italian still very good. I believe the meatballs are homemade, I've never seen them sold at a store that size unless they've come from the deli. We usually have the same waitress on Saturday and my husband and I have always thought her to be rather pleasant and curteous. I was sure that her name was Lisa too but it doesn't sound like the same lady that another user posted about. This waitress always has a smile when she comes to our table no matter how hectic and busy the place seems to be.

It is a bar/restaurant set in a small town so depending on the time you want to have dinner, you may run in to the town locals downing their drinks. This bothers some folks but not us as every small town has its share of local clientele.

I've heard that the Friday night fish fry's are really good so we may have to try it on Friday sometime.

Restaurant or Dive Bar?. My husband and I stopped in this little place on a Sat night around 9 pm. We thought we might get some great italian food and a not-so-known small town restaurant. We couldn't have been more wrong! The place was loud and they might as well open the entire place up inside and make it the bar because that was the feel while sitting in the "dining room" section. Maybe you need to stop in this place earlier before all the locals come in and get smashed! But either way, the food stinks.

We started with cheese sticks and this was actually the highlight of the entire meal. Not sure they were homemade or a frozen variety but they were ok. The dipping sauce however, was not. I ordered mostaccioli with meatballs. I believe these guys use pre-packaged frozen meatballs and the entire dish was covered with way too much of the flavorless house tomato sauce, most likely from a GIANT can. My husband got a small North Lake Inn special pizza, one again, covered in that icky sauce and the dough was really tough! And way too much cheese was on this thing. We didn't even take home the left overs and the waitress acted totally rude when we said we would pass on a to-go container. But then, she was rude from the start and watching the clock pretty much the entire time we were there. Plus she spent a fair amount of time in the bar. I got the feeling that we were keeping her from planting herself in there for the rest of the night!

If you stumble upon this place, keep driving. Unless you are looking for a dirty place to get drunk at.

Not worth the drive..... I was told by a co-worker that this place had excellent pizza, but it turns out that it's just average. We went on a Saturday night around 8pm and the place filled up fast with local drunks. Our server, I think her name was Lisa(?) was kind of rude and basically spent most of her time chatting up the bar folks. From what I saw other people eating, this place just serves standard low class italian fare smothered in canned tomato sauce. I don't recommend a trip to this middle-of-no-where-town to eat here.

Great Pizza. I was told this was suppose to be the best pizza, but I didn't find it anything special. I don't really like pizza as it is though, but it wasn't too bad. Homemade and fresh. We ordered the jalepeno cream cheese filled bites and those were very good. We went there late at night, its a bar atmosphere, so there was a lot of drunk locals who were being obnoxious. Didn't like that. The bartenders/servers were nice, but they didn't look too thrilled to be working.
