Best Mequon restaurant.. Best restaurant in Mequon, hands down. Great steaks and friendly servers. The (relatively) new owner has kept up the same quality as in years past. Highly recommended!

Worst Steak Ever. My wife and I both ordered our steaks medium. Hers came medium-rare and mine came very well done. So dry I could hardly eat it. Yes, I could have sent it back, but it was our anniversary and I didn't want to sit there and watch my wife eat and then have her watch me eat. That should never happen at this type of upscale restaurant. This was the most disappointed I have ever been with a meal.

Fresh game, ultra-fresh seafood, and a bounty of produce from Wisconsin farms provide a springboard for creativity in the kitchen at Riversite.. The Verdict:
Fresh game, ultra-fresh seafood, and a bounty of produce from Wisconsin farms provide a springboard for creativity in the kitchen at Riversite.

The Scene:
The banks of the Milwaukee River provide the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying the good food from Chef Tom Peshong's kitchen. Like the riverfront view, the menu changes with the seasons, but may include wild mushroom flan, chargrilled elk, or grilled porkloin with caramelized apples and portabella mushrooms simmered in apple brandy. Toss in one of the best California wine lists in the city and you have all the necessities for a remarkable meal.

If you order one thing:
The duck pizza with caramelized onions is a winner. —Willard Romantini
