Tips for Parkland Plaza Veterinary Clinic

Just a great experience!. I really wanted to take five minutes to express my opinions on Parkland Plaza Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Butler, and his staff. They're all experience and caring, and you can tell the same group has been together for many years. Dr. Butler has over 30 years of experience so it never feels as though he is "learning on my pet." Dr. Butler explained that despite what people may lead you to believe, declawing a cat is in fact hardly ever a problem for the animal. When we had our cat Jessie declawed it was inexpensive for us and she didn't seem affected or hindered at all. Dr. Butler performed the procedure for what seemed to be the millionth time. We were just happy and satisfied despite our initial concerns. Having Dr. Butler take care of our cats has been a great experience and I only wish that on you other pet owners out there.

Great care Veterinary Clinic. I have been a longtime client at Parkland Plaza Veterinary Clinic. I am very happy with the staff and Doctor Butler. They all give great care to all of my pets. I wouldn't choose any other clinic in the area. They have always been very compassionate and knowledgable when it come to any kind of treatment for my animals. As to the cost, they are priced reasonable right along with other clinics in the area. I would recommend this Veterinary clinic to anyone.

G-R-E-A-T. I feel the need to let everyone know about my positive experience with Dr. Butler at Parkland Plaza. I have always been one to go from clinic to clinic with my shih tzu (<3 u!) , never too loyal to a single one. But my habits will certainly change after finding Parkland Plaza.

Doctor Butler and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. He was very diligent in his work, leaving me 100% confident Prissy was getting the care she needed to be healthy. Pricing was straight-forward and certainly fair.

Adding it all up: I felt wanted, I knew my pet would get good care, and it all got done at a fair price!!

Very satisfied with this business. Our doggy has been treated with care and respect ever since our family began taking her to this local business. Our questions and concerns are always answered thoroughly, and the staff and veterinarian always make recommendations for our pet's well-being. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. Prices and fees have never been a problem for us.

Have known Dr. Butler for many years.... Has always provided quality care. Fees have been fair.

Friendly, compassionate and dedicated are words I can use.

My little dog has been in numerous times for shots, spay surgery, (and misc. other things) and always was treated well.

Dr and Staff-- very friendly, and are normal human everyday people with common sense and knowledge. Many years of experience.

Would Never Go Elsewhere. I have been taking my 2 dogs to Dr. Butler and his staff at Parkland Plaza for over a year now, and I just feel a duty to let others know just how happy I am with my service there!

Upon every return visit, it is instantly clear the vet and his staff are interested in providing the best care for my pets possible. I know I am a "question master" who always wants to get as much information about my dogs' care as possible, and Dr. Butler always answers any question I have in great detail. His staff is pleasant to deal with, and the care provided is top-notch.

Before finding Parkland Plaza I had frequented other area clinics. My experience has shown me the prices here match up with other clinics, and the care here is certainly tough to beat.

That's all for now, just wanted others to know how happy I've been!

Good Staff. Caring and Knowledgable Dr.. The first time I took my puppy to Dr. Butler, I knew he would be the veterinarian for me and her for years to come. I was going to get her spayed and was greeted by an extremely kind staff that genuinely seemed to care for my dog's well being. I did not have to wait long until I met with Dr. Butler. He answered all the questions I had regarding this one time procedure he had surely conducted thousands of times. The surgery could not have gone better and my dog was ready to come home that day. The price paid was fair considering how my mind was put at ease, and how effective and caring the staff was throughout. It pains me to see some of these reviews of Dr. Butler and his staff, because I have never found them to be anything but empathetic and informative about any pet related concerns I have ever had. Parkland Plaza Veterinary Clinic will be safeguarding my pet's health for years to come.

Rude staff, expensive service. One thing I can say that was positive in our trip to this vet many times is that the doctor (Dr. Butler) is very kind. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and treated my dog with gentleness and compassion. The vet techs however have been very rude everytime I have been there...they have a way of making you feel like they want to hurry up and just get you to pay for the services instead of answering questions you have about charges.

One specific time I took my dog to Parkland Plaza, the vet tech attempted to hold my dog still so her nails could be clipped. The vet tech couldnt manage to hold her and her paw at the same time (even though my dog is pretty much frozen still when she is being clipped). Suggestion-if the owner of the pet is willing to stand by the dog and actually can calm the dog instead of making her feel punished in a position she is physically uncomfortable in then why have a vet tech in the room? Better yet, why have a vet tech fee?

To give you a better idea of cost....with one visit for a tooth being pulled it ended up costing us a little over $470.00.

Another visit....one lyme vax booster, nail trim, bordatella shot, and a one month supply for flee and heart worm medication was $184.00.

Maybe it is just me but I never paid this much for a vet. I understand the implications of having quality care and the fee for service (seeing as how I am a nurse and realize cost of care for humans). If you are able to pay this price then that is great but I would hope others would expect nothing less than kindness and compassion from the vet techs and workers in paying these high prices.

Friendly, caring, great medical experience. I took my new puppy in to be spayed on a Friday morning. The staff called when the surgery was done and provided me with a complete update. I called later in the afternoon and spoke directly to the Dr who again answered all my questions. My puppy was completely "recovered" and back to her energetic self the very next day! The service, care, experience - all great! Cost -- fine -- this is a hospital providing medical procedures!

Pricey vet service. It is clean and the girls are pleasantly courteous and helpful. But this place is way too expensive. Much more than vets I have been to in the past for the same treatments on my cats, including immunizations. You'd think those would at least be a standard price. Here they clearly overcharge.
