Extremely rude when hour to close.
They have extremely fun holiday items and are usually very nice and helpful. However, if you try to call an hour before close you might get a quick and rude blow-you-off response and another associate yelling in the background about how ridiculous it is for customers to call at that hour. It was extremely disappointing since I was only asking about whether applications are processed online or in the store. Since it is such a wonderful little store I thought working there would be great but after a harsh interruption of "Not even hiring," I feel that their phone customer service is lacking. I was not looking to be hired over the phone, just wanted some friendly advice on their application method. Since the associate in the background was not even aware if I was or was not a customer calling about a product, I'm not sure why she got so upset. This does not stop me from loving Hallmark, just turns me away from Barbara's Hallmark.
