By far the best rouladen in the world... This is probably the best German menu and cooking in the Milwaukee area. By far the best rouladen in the world, including Germany itself.

friendly and efficient. When we go for fish fry, Eric's is our first choice. The breading is light and the fish is always moist, whether it's fried or baked. We prefer to dine at Eric's because we like to support those who live and work in our community. The hostess, bartenders, and waitstaff that filled our water glasses and bread baskets were friendly and efficient.

Not Worth It. My husband and I were just there tonight and our server was Brian as well. It was HORRIBLE service and they did not honor the Group-On. We were instructed that we could go to the bar and speak with the owner if we chose to (we did not) and the waiter, Brian, kept telling us not to be upset with him and that Eric (the owner) wouldn’t honor it anyway. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. You go to a nice restaurant and you spend $100 for a meal – you expect a certain level of service…the restaurant is dirty, the restrooms were disgusting and the owner couldn’t be bothered to honor his own Group-on.

I will be back!. This restaurant was small but yet unique because it is inside a historical house. The food was great. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and french baked snails for appetizers. And for dinner, we order two different kinds of steak. It was a great dinner with good service. Overall, I would reccomend this place.... and I will be back!
