Disappointed-. Our last visit was less than memorable and while the service was excellent the food was average. My feeling is that the down home preperation and personal touch to the sauces was to commerical and not enough of "nonna's touch". I was very surprised that for a thursday night there were only 3 tables with customers. And at one point we were the only one! While still a good resteraunt it has fallen from my favor list.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!. I recommend the Mozzarella Marinara and Pasta Rosa. It is to die for!!!

k. i've changed my mind :). some of the foods that I tried earlier weren't impressive but I have to admit that I was basing that on my taste for spicy food. Of which Italian food isn't. The bottomline is Giovanni's delivers and they are great. I love this restaurant and I'd recommend their daily specials and clams or escargot for appetizer. Drink list is great and their service is second to none. Just go there and enjoy! You'll love it ;)

The music of old crooners serenades diners in this romantic restaurant that has served scrumptious Italian favorites since 1977.. The Scene
A warm glow radiates from the fireplace as diners sit among the mural-covered walls in the dimly lit dining room. With Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra crooning in the background there's no better place for a romantic evening.

The Food
The fine texture and delicate flavor of veal is the center of the restaurant's most popular dishes. A golden crust of breadcrumbs lies under the tomato and mozzarella topping in the veal parmigiano. A wonderful garlicky marinara sauce bathes homemade pastas topped with fresh seafood, tender vegetables and meats. A crusty piece of Italian bread soaks up what's too good to be left behind. Still have room? The tiramisu or Italian cheesecake ends the meal on a perfectly sweet note.

Good Italian Food. Good food but a little pricey. There are definately better italian restautants in Milwaukee

True Romance. The food is simply delicious. It is almost like actually being in Italy. The wine the waiter recommended went perfectly with the dinner. Just awsome romantic atmosphere.

magnifico. I usually get the split crablegs,prawnshrimp, and filet minon all sicilian style. Nothing else compares.

The owner frequently visits the tables and truly cares that your experience is enjoyable.
