You've got to love it!. My wife and I went to the Safehouse as part of our honeymoon. We were from out of state and had never been..so we didn't know the password....with a bit of embarrassment we got in though and had a wonderful time. We plan to make it a regular destination spot for our travels. The atmosphere is great and the food's not too bad either!

Fun @ The Safe House. The last time I went to the Safe House, I knew the pass word and the person I was with didn't. So we both had to entertain everyone else inside first as a "cowgirl riding her horse". Got a round of applause coming in the door. A little embarassed, but it was fun. Drinks are good, but the dance floor was small...........haven't been there lately though, might be more room to dance now.

This covert, back-alley spy hangout has been a Milwaukee landmark since 1966.. In Short
Just finding the place feels like "Mission Impossible." Look for a red door bearing the name "International Exports, Ltd."--a front, of course. Once inside (be prepared to be de-briefed at the door) you'll be transported into the world of international espionage. From secret passageways, James Bond-inspired martinis (shaken, not stirred), sinking bar stools and phone booths equipped with background noise to support various alibis, it's easily one of the most unique nightclubs anywhere.

Of all the places..... Well, of all the places I've ever been, this one definitely stands out. I thoroughly enjoyed first visit there and I'll definitely go back. The prices were in line, and the food and drinks were well in line with the price paid for them. In fact, I've already made plans to take a date who's never been there - this place is perfect for that since there's tons of stuff to talk about!

Simply cool. Great atmosphere. Top staff. Fantastic drinks. Enough distractions to keep you occupied all night, and perhaps most importantly of all, consistently all of the above for a long, long time

Cracked-up Fridays. Milwaukee's "Safehouse" has got the best atmosphere of any bar, ever. It makes for the highlight of a pub crawl, and should definitely make it's way into your Milwaukee repertoire, when visiting.

Still the Spies Demise!. This place is smply one of the single coolest bars on the planet. In Milwaukee? Go there! It's a must see. Weekend evenings are the best. But it's not bad for lunch when the crowd is small and you can actaully see all the memorabilia.
