I LOVE MIMMA'S!!. I went here once on a whim a couple years ago... and ended up going back every other weekend with my best girlfriends for the next 2 years. They staff is so warm and friendly, including Mimma who is often around to make sure you enjoy your meal. The cocktail list rivals the best bars in the city- try the delicious Mochachino martini! Espresso, vanilla vodka, fresh cream... what more could you as for? The pasta is also delicious, fresh and homemade. I love the ambience, the food, the drinks, the late night live music... Mimma's is a true Milwaukee gem.

Irritating Service. If you are looking for a place to have a romantic dinner and simply enjoy someone else's company, look elsewhere. A romantic evening for two was turned into dinner with a third wheel - the waiter was hovering over our table for 80% of the meal. We not only felt rushed, we felt like we had no privacy. No matter how good the food is, no one likes being pressured into ordering in record time. If you say "I need a few minutes," you should be given a few minutes, not 22 seconds.

Best Italian Restaurant in Milwaukee. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is excellent. The pasta choices are perhaps too many, but all excellent! The appetizers are great and are more authentic and well done than most places. The ambience is romantic. The desserts are worth every calorie and then some.

yummy. Excellent. Best pasta by far. Not someplace to go every weekend because of the cost, but a wonderful occasional treat.

Italy right here in Milwaukee. Dining at Mimma's is the closest to authentic Italian dining outside of Italy that I have eaten since returning from Europe and living there for 5 1/2 years. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and tastes delicious. The resturant is a pleasant dinning experience with great service. This is a delightful change other Italian Resturants both here in Milwaukee and the States who believe the only way to prepare Italian dishes is to smother the meal to death under extreamly heavy sauces. Truely enjoyable!!!
