Another restaurant that is rated very high in this site's local polls........but has been closed for quite some time now. Frustrating to those restaurants that are open, but are ranked lower on this site to the closed ones! Also frustrating to potential Milwaukee-area diners looking for an option.

Atmosphere and More.
We have been going to Blu, at the top of the Pfister, for 8 years or more. They provide consistently good service, drinks, good and service. One of the nicest views of Milwaukee. Bar validates parking at the Pfister garage and there are several good restaurants in the Pfister as well as within walking distance. Staff at Blu is helpful in pointing you to local activities. Whenever we bring someone new up to Blu they are impressed by the drink selections and the cashews - step up from typically bar fare - even martini bars. Check out the lobby of the Pfister while you are there. It is a beautiful place with a nice collection of paintings and wonderful decor at the holidays. The lobby bar also offers a nice selection of food and drinks and a wonderful full English tea service. Check it out!

Mesmerizing views and sassy martinis set the mood at this sophisticated cocktail lounge atop the majestic Pfister Hotel..
In Short
The historic Pfister Hotel provides the perfect setting for Blu, a popular Milwaukee nightspot. Surrounded by grand windows, this strikingly elegant, 23rd-floor lounge offers breathtaking views of the downtown skyline and Lake Michigan. Cozy leather armchairs and soft jazz add to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Come for the view and stay for the smooth martinis, luscious cocktails and extensive wine selection.
