User Friendly Atmosphere. I have to say that of all the bars on Water St., Gilly's is the only one where anyone can feel comfortable.. dressed up or dressed down.

Their buffalo wings recipe is IMHO the absolute best in Milwaukee. It can get very busy there so get there early if you want to get in. When busy, you must be patient, the staff will get to you eventually.

Rude Bartenders. I dunno. This place is Ok, but it is the same as the rest of Water street. Rude Bartenders.

hooplah. just an excellent spot to sit back and relax with your friends or random people as you choose. great atmosphere and variety in a great location.

Gilly's on Water. Night after night this is the most packed and happening bar on Water Street. Overall, the best sportsbar downtown. They've got great food including their famous waffle fries, the best wings in the city. Plus, the place is hudge, there are three floors and a gigantic outdoor patio for summer nights! Don't miss McGillycuddy's.
