GREAT service!. My first experience with Halo was approximately a year ago when I was interested in getting extensions. I had my initial consultation with Nova and he was incredibly thorough in his explanation of the process and the different options that I had available to me (I was a first timer to extensions). Once I selected what type I wanted, I came back for the application and it was a great experience. It turned out PERFECTLY, the hair was an exact match and no one could tell the hair was fake. PLUS, the event in which I was getting the extensions for was occuring the day after I got them applied, which the salon was normally closed that day. Knowing what I was getting the extensions for, Nova offered to come into the salon especially for me just so that I could have my hair styled professionally for the big event, at no additional charge! Now, my regular hair stylist who I have been going to for years in Kenosha has never even offered such a thing. THAT'S what I call true customer service and going the extra mile! The style turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I received compliments on my hair all day long because of how good it looked.

I will be getting extensions again in the next week and this time I don't have to do any shopping around, I know exactly where I am going not only because of Nova's skill at what he does, but his willingness to go above and beyond for his customers to make sure they look FABULOUS! Can't say enough positive things about him!

halo salon review. i just had my haircut and colored at halo salon!!!!!!!! what a blast!!!!great music , great atmosphere,and top notch service!!!!!every one is so attentive and i had their undivided attention! First let me start with the colour.paige ,who is so sweet and talented took my hair from a very mousy brown to a rich golden brown with caramel hilights after which came a complimentary"micromist" deep conditioning treatment.Then came my haircut!!!! Michael Potter who has 15 years of experience and trained and worked at the vidal sassoon salon in beverly hills took my over layered typical wisconsin haircut and gave me a soft geometric haircut that i feel is the best haircut ive had in my life!!!!he is so particular and precise, its as if he cut each hair individually.this place is the bomb!check it out!!!!

great haircut bad attitude. I went to Diane about 6 times. The first 5 times, it was a positive experience. She is an experienced stylist. As I continued to go to her, her prices seemed to increase depending on the day. When I made a drastic change to go from dark hair to blond I consulted with her and she reassured me that after the initial whopper of $250, which included a haircut it would cost less to maintain. I returned for a touch up asking to have it lightened more. She doubled me up with another client and ran between us. I didn't receive the attention I should have. When complete I went home and saw I still had brown roots a quarter inch wide, uneven highlights showing through my natural color. I made another appt for her to "fix" the issue, she didn't call me back but instead her boyfriend did who didn't even do my hair. I got there for my "fix" appt and waited 45 min for her to talk to me she was defensive and told me that I had to pay around another $65 to get the roots touched up when that was why i went there in the first place! Now I had to pay a total of $235 for just color when before she charged me $250 for all that and a cut! I was prepared to spend much more if she had only been polite and fixed the miscommunication we had had. I ended up canceling the appointment for her to retouch my roots and went somewhere else, where they treated me right and charged me less than half the price. Diane needs to realize that although she is a talented stylist, one - she isn't worth what she is charging, this is Milwaukee not Hollywood, two - rates can't jump up and down depending on who walks in the door it's dishonest, and three - she needs to step down a peg and realize that people make mistakes and a great stylist will admit them and make the client happy without charging them more money because of an over sized ego. I would not recommend her or Halo at all for that matter because once you have an issue with one person there, especially Diane, you get snobbed by all of them.

Best colorist around. I have been going to Diane for probably about 10 years, and im only 18. Everytime she cuts my hair i absolutely love it. She's amazing i would recommend her to anybody. If you think she's rude or anybody in the salon is rude you are nuts! They are some of the nicest people ive met! =]

Don't waste your money or dignity. This place is exorbitantly priced and the quality of service is not any greater than Cost Cutters. I, too, cried when I left.

quite lovely and excellence in hair care. I just had my hair style changed, color and new style......Very, very best in style and color, excellent atmosphere and reception..........Best thing I've spent my money on in a long while........

Excellent Service. I had a great experience at this salon. Diane kept the salon open until almost 11pm to make sure that I was happy with my color. I had called in 2 hours earlier and requested an appointment that evening and she was willing to do it. Awesome salon, great ownership, I would highly recommend to anyone. I haven't had a better experience in Milwaukee or Chicago.

User review by hunnybump. oh my god... these people think they are great, the space, although modern, does NOT reflect on the ability! aaahhhhh I cried when I came home with my $60 hair cut!
