Editorial Review for Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery – by Michele McCole Moss
The Scene
This national chain is located along the city's grand River Walk. The view from its patio is superb and is a great spot on hot summer evenings. Blond woods bedeck the interior with three bars serving up signature brews. Darts, pool and a long menu make this is a great place to hang out with a group of friends.
The Food
Several of the brews are worked right into the recipes. Start with the warm, creamy Asiago cheese dip and scoop it up with homemade beer bread. Pizzas have a honey and brown ale crust and come topped with everything from pepperoni and prosciutto to shiitakes and capers. Looking for comfort? Get the fried chicken with white-cheddar mashed potatoes. A pint always makes a perfect dessert.

This is the one restaurant I recommend to everyone. Rock Bottom will appeal to every palate - they've got everything from pizza to burgers to chicken to pasta to massive salads that will leave you very satisfied. This is just a fun place to go to. The outside dining is also an experience that must be had in the summertime. You can't say that you've been to Milwaukee without having been to this restaurant. Its your own loss!
Pros: great food, friendly service , ambience

Rock Bottom has great pub food. My favorite is thier chicken Mac n Cheese. It comes with a nice caesar side salad. They have a small parking lot, so be prepared to park far, far away. Parking in their lot is cheap- like 50 Cents, while I usually end up parking in the Pabst Theater at $6.00 an hour!
Pros: Food
Cons: Parking
