the best since late 70's. i've been going to conejits since my junior high days. my kids have been eating it since tots. i live out of town but when ever i am in milwaukke thats where we go. i took my boyfriend and he loved it. when my youngest doesn't go with he ask me to bring him something back from there. we live 3 hours away . love it love it love it. i've never had bad service even during the busy lunch hour

terrible service. THIS RESTAURANT IS VERY POOR ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS IT WAS OUT OF LINE I WILL NEVER GO BACK A WHOLE BUNCH OF DRUNKIES I WENT WITH MY 2 KIDS AND EVEN MY KIDS ASKED ME WHY I TOOK THEM TO EAT THERE THE FOOD IS NASTY THE DRINKS ARE OK BUT DONT GO EAT THERE EVERYTHING THROWN AROUND IN YOUR PLATE IT TASTED LIKE SHIT..30 MIN WAITING FOR A TABLE CAME TO FIND OUT IT WAS THE SAME TABLE WE WERE GOING TO SIT AT FIRST ..

Great food. I love this place. I always get the chicken enchilada's and my wife always gets the tostada's. They also make the best Mexican rice we've had in town. Very cheap and no, the service isn't always great but for the price it's about what one should expect. I've never had "terrible" service, just sometimes a little slow. The hot sauce has a terrific flavor, too.

Best Mexican in town. I have been to Mexico, Arizona and all over the country and Mexican food is my favorite. I laugh at the people that have said this isn't authentic mexican food. Go to Mexico, go to Arizona, if you don't think this is authentic, you don't know Mexican food.

Everything is hand made and fresh. The food is excellent, quick and inexpensive. This is as authentic as you can get. If you are looking for a sit down dinner with fine dining, don't look here. This is the kind of food you find at a stand on the street in Mexico or Arizona, the best food you find there. If you have to wait, have a couple margarita's, you will love em too!!

Go to Taco Bell instead. Skip it!

This place has the worst service ever and the food stinks. I'd rather to to Taco Bell, no joke.

Authentic.... I love the people who say that this place isn't authentic... have you even been to Mexico?? Or just Texas?? I go to Mexico once a year and this place is the closest to authentic it can get without actually going there. The White chicken Mole is the best anywhere and is only $5!! The only negative I have is that this place is so busy that it can take a while of standing around sipping drinks before you can get a seat. I definitely wouldn't go here for a "fine dining" but for good "authentic" food and a couple margeritas this is the best!!

Has went down over time. This place is not at all like it used to be. The food is thrown together and sometimes not even fresh. The employees are busy talking to one another instead of taking care of customers. The owner will at times when he is drunk kick people out for no reason-we have seen this twice now. We were talking with an employee once and she was telling us about all kinds of drama that goes on there between employees-this is not something that we cared to know about and it reflects poorly on the establishment. Years ago this was a friendly place with great fresh food at a nice price, I don't know what happened to change things, although I must say we have noticed the decline happening slowly over time.
