Eh, it's ok.. Older crowd here tends to be a little bit on the sleazy and boring side. Drinks are so so and the staff isn't as cute as it used to be.

Two Bars in one...great owner always makes you feel like family..
Boom is a great place to meet friends, new friends or just sit and chat with the bartenders. They serve the best popcorn and have the greatest HDTV screens. This is the place to hang out and if you get board on one side you can always go to the ROOM...its the same owner.

In Short
Two large rainbow flags wave proudly outside the front door. Step inside to a laid-back friendly place that has recently become popular with Straights, as well. The decor is modest, yet warm. A room-length bar is well stocked with over 30 brands of bottled beer and several more on tap. Pull up a bar stool and take in some music videos or wander on over to the billiards area and plunk down a couple quarters. If you're a fan of Queer As Folk, get to Boom early on Sunday nights, it might be tough to find a seat.
