I still crave this great pizza. I can still rememeber how it smells. My folks started ordering from Mama in the 1960's and continued until they retired from the Milwaukee area. It was always a treat to know that we were going to have this pizza for supper. I used to love it even cold with a big glass of milk. It is hard to find a place these days that uses canned mushrooms on their pizza, it just seems wrong to put fresh ones on it. I have been living in Louisville, Kentucky for 10 years now and still have not found anything that pales in comparison to De Marini's. I love this place!. I grew up in this restaurant. My father used to bring the family then I worked in the kitchen in my teens. Heck, we even adopted one of the owners dogs years ago. The pizza here is the best anywhere especially if you like sausage which is made exclusivly for De Marinis from the family recipe. The cheese is also a special treat which is put on in slices rather than shredded which allows for more uniform coverage. The sauage sandwich is also to awsome.…
This Pizza is like Night and Day, More towards the Dark Side. I remember the first time I ate this pizza, It was like God's gift to pizza's, then I ate it again and it was not so good and even ate it a few times after that to the point where it was disgusting, I had problems with the pizza being over cooked, under cooked, lack of ingredients and then at times it would taste like it was sitting around for weeks before they prepared it, I would not recommend this place to anyone.…

Neither New York or Chicago have anything this good. Not anything near as good. Mama's sausage is still be best on the planet. Mama has the leg up on her sons in consistancy. Her pies are always
perfect, never burned or raw. Close attention is paid to what comes out of her kitchen. It's a taste that is unmatched.
Now if I could only convince mom and pop DiMarini to move down here to the Tampa Bay area and start making their Pizza's in Clearwater! Then God would be being very very good to me and the rest of the folks here. We only have BAD pizza here. It's sad when the best pizza in town is Domino's!…
Best and it is the same every time we visit(often). I was introduced(indoctrinated) to De Marinis early on by Mom and Dad who went there when they were dating(50"s). The crust is perfect. The toppings are the best in taste and size. Dine in or take out you can't beat it. I take many out of town guests to De Marini's and when they are planning to come back to town; they make me promise to return. My favorite CSM-extra cheese.…
