Pleasantly Surprised!.
We had arrived in Milwaukee and found this establishment listed in a restaurant brochure from the lobby. The photograph in the brochure was totally inaccurate as it showed a stone fire place and a brightly lit dining room.
When we found Amelia's I was shocked that it was really just a "hole in the wall" if you will. The decor however drew me in, and the place mat which included the flight plan of Amelia Earhart kept me intrigued until our very friendly waitress came to our table.
The food was quickly served and delicious. I had the roast beef with fries and cole slaw. The portions were heaping, and I was unable to eat the whole serving despite the deliciousness of it.
Our waitress was wonderful, she took our picture under the "Welcome to Amelia's" sign when we told her we were from Pittsburgh.
Bottom line DO NOT judge a book by its cover!

Great Outdoor Dining. Great Food. Sweet waitresses. Get to watch airplanes take off and land. Comfortable, and relaxed. Fun place to go for just a drink and appetizer.
