Rookies Rocks!. Rookies is a great place to go whether alone or with friends. The bartenders all make you feel welcome. Stopped in the other day and had a great time. Got there before my friends. Everyone there was friendly. Bar was busy but service was excellent! Happy Hour is a great deal. The food was delicious. Pizza was excellent! My friends liked the wings too! I would recommend Rookies for the friendly atmosphere, great food and attentive service.

I Love Rookies!. I always have a great time when Im at Rookies. I LOVE the people who work there! The regular crowd is kick-ass and kind. Its a sports club that is a great place to watch the games without being filled with jocks and jerks! The Pizza is awesome! The owner sponsors a TON of local softball teams as well as BREW CITY BRUISERS (all female flat track roller derby)! It's never too loud or too crowded. I recommend coming in for a bombpop shot, or to play some dice with the locals...Josh, Jess, and the rest of the crew are great bartenders! Its just a great place!!!

VERY IMPRESSED !!!. I came in from out of town and wasn't familiar with the area. I looked on this site to get some ideas. Saw that Rookies was close to where I was staying so despite a few negative reviews I thought I would give them a shot. Normally I wouldn't waste my time writing a review but the food and service I received was outstanding. The pizza was by far the tastiest I have ever eaten. Fresh ingredients and a Delicious sauce. The staff was friendly and prompt with all of my dining needs. When ever I come to Milwaukee, Rookies is my first stop!! I recommend them to everyone.

Just go for the food. The only thing I have to say is the owners are cheap and rip off there employees. The bartenders are more worried about there friends or family then there customers. The food is great if Linda is cooking. They just don't seem to care enough about anything to get people in there. It's boring and needs something besides foosball and darts. I mean if you can't get a drink at least you can have something to do!

Don't go there!. This place was your average sports bar and I agree that it's very "South Milwaukee", nothing special about it at all. Drinks were watered down and the service was terrible. We had a female bartender who was very rude to me yet very attentive to my boyfriend. As we were leaving she even made a play for him. He was repulsed by her. It was a very sad display.This would be a good place to go if you enjoy ugly, cheap, desperate bartenders who are extremely disrespectful! Not a real good atmosphere.

BEST PZA IN MILWAUKKE BY LINDA THE COOK !!!!. Rookies IS a family bar you and shoot the dice shoot talk with the bartenders and Randy and Melinda

and Especially Linda the Cook. We almost Lost Linda and it was part of Rookies Kitchen. But she is back in action!!!

Rookies is a Excellent bar excellent location for parties best specials and great people.

Rookies has the best partrons at the bar that are very socialable and loving. Its all family you are very welcomed By Randy and Melinda they are the best people in the world to meet and socialize with.

Rookies has a variety of drinks and good food.. No matter what you think its the best

Bar to visit , Randy has "opening day" with MOUNT OlIVE

and it rocks and best party found on Miller park grounds.

He is the Best and cares about his local patrons so stopp by and make visit to the great bar on howard ave...

Ask for Randy Meet the Great Owners!! He has a heart of gold for his patrons...... especially if you shoot the dice

Fun neighborhood bar. Rookies is a great place to hang out anytime. They throw fun parties, have good food, and friendly staff. It is easy to strike up a conversation with any bartender and the waitresses are sweethearts...they always try to make sure that you are being helped and are taken care of. Rookies is my favorite place to hang out at during a Packer or Brewer game. Plus, most bars just have frozen pizzas, but Rookies doesn't...they have the best pizzas...and Bloody Mary's. I'm getting hungry and thirsty just writing this review! :) If your looking for a fun and relaxing place or even a party bar...Rookies has it, the atmosphere depends on the customers attitudes.

Great Sport's Bar with fantastic pizza, grill food, wings, drinks, and ice cold beer!. "Rookies Sports Club", what a great place with a wonderfully warm and pleasing atmosphere. Large enough for great parties and you're never in a position that you can't see a TV for the Packer's, Brewer's, Buck's, or the Badger games plus other numerous televised sporting events. This is a true sports bar, not your rec room so Rookies will be open tomorrow and all you have to do is stop by to enjoy a good time.

best staff, best food. great service, great food, good times and a great atmosphere. great place for parties, group outings or just a night of pizza and beer. take your friends, take your family, just take your butt to Rookies!

Great place to pass time. Best Sports Bar in Milwaukee. Bartending staff is great. Prices on food and Drink is reasonable. Beer is always cold and the Frozen mugs make it even more enjoyable. Great crowd, I've never seen a problem between anyone. I must say they have the best Pizza in town. Plenty of TV's in the place which bartenders try their best to put on what you want. Great place to throw a party. There is plenty of room to have fun. Looking to pass some time after a wedding before a reception, swing in and the time will fly by. If heading down town or out to Miller Park for an event. Swing in have a cold one or shake some dice against the bartender. I highly recomend it. Great customer service
