Same story as Djones

Like many others have written in their reviews, I really don't believe these guys deserve the "One Star Rating" I gave them, but I had to enter something...
I had almost the exact same experience. My car died at a SuperAmerica on a Friday and I couldn't roll up the windows or lock it --alternator died (I hid the key on the passenger floor). I called at noon ("Not here, yet" I was told) and then at 4:30 ("No. I don't know why we don't have it, but the towing service said it will be here soon".) I drove down to their place at 5:10 in my wife's car and it was locked up and empty. They promised me they would call me and let me know what was gong on...
Knowing the extremely bad security conditions, I went and got it myself. Did the work myself and fixed it.
I was going to go down and harrass them about this, but they are not worth my time. They shouldn't be worth yours, either.
- Pros: None
- Cons: There is not enough space here to even begin.
worst repair that never happened
by Djones
I would give 0 stars if I could, they owe me some stars!
My car broke down on the way to summerfest last Sunday. I called Jim's Monday morning around 10:30, they offered to pick up my keys and tow it. After 6 hours of waiting and being told they were on there way still nothing. I get home from work and still nothing, so I decide to walk the keys down. When I get there the guy says they came to the door and no one answered which was impossible, he said they were going to tow it without a key and he would look at it in the morning. I left reassured, but questioning my decision to go with Jims. My wife on her way home from school at 10pm see’s that our car is still on the side of the road! So I had to have it towed to my house to avoid the city of Milwaukee towing it, luckily I had a spare key. My wife called Jeff’s automotive on Nicholson in Cudahy; they had it picked up in 20 mins. In the end Jim’s only had excuses and no sense of responsibility which is a terrible way to do business. Never. Again.
- Cons: not trustworthy and have no customer service skills
Don't take your car here
by Jack80
This place deserves zero stars. It took them a day and a half to do 20 minutes of work. Had to call them 5 times just to get an update of what was going on with my car. Didn't provide an estimate right away. They don't seem to to know what the hell they're doing or how to run a business. You're better off at a big-name mechanic shop. You might pay more, but it won't take them nearly 2 days to replace one simple part.
