Delicious! Definitely lived up to the expectations.... Wow. We had read several reviews about this place and heard it was the best in Milwaukee for gyros.

We ate there for lunch, and had the spinich pie and my boyfriend had a regular gyro. Both came with french fries.

They have cucumber sauce readily available.

He loved his, I loved mine. The portions were generous and the owner and the employees were extremely friendly.

Some people might think the prices are a little high, but it is definitely worth it!

Take away food quality sucks!!!. Take away food sucks due to poor, really poor, quality of food. Either the qyro meat is dried stiff or cold (not fresh cut). Oh and the cooks that put the platter together are not wearing gloves. That's a NO NO, and a serious health disaster waiting to happen. Definitely not eating there.

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. OG's has THE best Greek food anywhere. The lamb shank is to die for. The portions are extremely generous, the people are wonderfully friendly and accomodating. We would never eat gyros any where else but OG's!!!

FANTASTIC, FABULOUS, FIVE STAR!. This place is so great. The employees are super nice. The atmosphere i top-notch for a "fast food" place. It's actually rather cozy. The food is VERY good and extremely PLENTIFUL! Plus they have the Raspberry Iced Tea there, which is delicious! Did I mention how nice the employees are?!! :) Great great place!! My sisters from Minneapolis and Boise, Idaho, just LOVE this place and have to visit each time they come to Milwaukee. GREAT JOB OAKLAND GYROS!

Late Night Best. Dozens of times have I found myself late on a weekend in OG's. True the line is usually poking out the door but the wait is still never more than 15 min. When it's this busy they usually take your order while your in line and your food is don't by the time you pay. It seems that I never have trouble finding a table ether. If there isn't one open someone is always willing to share a spot. The gyro plater is always a great. I love their cucumber sauce. The whole chicken isn't to bad ether. The crowds are rowdy at night but have never seen it get out of hand.

Best Gyros in Milwaukee. This place on the eastside of Milwaukee actually knows how to make and serve Gyros. The Gyro Plate is Fries or Rice, Covered in Lamb off the cone, with onions, tomatos, and a Pita on top. Garnished with Greek Olives and Feta Cheese. Awesome! Not a slopped together sandwich like most serve. Great anytime day or night. Fast Service Too!

BEST GYROS AT BAR TIME!!. Oakland Gyros continues to amaze after I have been eating them for; well 6 years now. From my college days at UW-Milwaukee to my current occupation in finance, lunch has got to be OG's once a week. The ultimate attraction for my demographic though is the late hours they keep; specifically after bar. If you can put up with the line around the corner, prepare for a treat... wonderfully seasoned lamb, ample fresh feta and the incomparable cucumber yogurt sauce form the ultimate bedtime treat to prep you for tomorrows hangover. They also feature a surprising fish fry as well as the full compliment of tradtional Greek food, and burgers and fries - which I've heard are great... maybe I'll try them someday when I get tired of Gyros... or not

OG's hits the spot-Especially @ Bartime!. Oakland Gyros has great food for a great price! Be prepared to stand in line if you visit between the hours of 1 and 2am. They are open until 3am, which is perfect for the area barfly. But the guys that work there are experts in quick customer service, and the [short] wait is definately worth it!!You'll probably run into a friend or two while you are waiting, and get a seat by the window for some great people watching.
