Barbers >Nick's Barber Shop
great haircut. I recently moved to the area and have been to Nick's twice since I arrived. The first time, I left with the best haircut I have had in years, and the second time was just as good. Pete did a great job and it was a really comfortable atmosphere with some customers who have obviously been going there for decades. As a bonus, you get a good old-fashioned straight-razor shave of your neck to finish off your haircut (which is hard to find anymore). I am very happy to have found such a great barber shop in the area.
Classic Barber Shop. I have been going to Nick's for years and have always been treated with respect. The barber shop has a great atmosphere where there is usually lively conversation, joke telling, plenty to read and they do an excellent job on the haircuts. Prices are very reasonable. I will admit that it is not quite the same since Nick passed away, but Peter has done a fantastic job of carrying on the tradition in this east side landmark.
Rude.. I was treated so rudely here that I actually got up and left. There are a million barber shops out there--I recommend you go elsewhere. I see that this guy writes reviews of himself on these webpages so I thought I would go to a couple of them and give people a heads-up.
