Tips for Lakefront Brewery Palm Garden

Fun tour. Ok beer.. This place is located in downtown Milwaukee right next to the Milwaukee River. The tour was pretty fun (although I don't remember any slide) and seemed to be aimed toward the early 20 something college crowd. They give you beer while you go through the tour and a free beer glass at the end of the tour. I had mixed reviews on their beers althrough they had a really good seasonall Belgian Style White Beer and their Fixed Gear Red Amber Ale is also pretty tasty. They also have some local and organic beers if your into that sort of thing.

Great beer, great experience... a Must--do!. The guy who ran the tour was awesome! The fact that you only pay about $6 for 4 beers is great! It was my first time in Milwaukee and I cannot wait to go on another Lakefront Brewery Tour!

All the beer you can drink, and a slide!. A pair of brothers run Lakefront Brewery and keep the atmosphere fun and friendly. You sort of think that it's an extension of their frat days, but they're not pretentious enough to have ever been frat boys. They're just two good ol' Milwaukee boys, brewin' beer and givin' it to their customers via tours that spend more time near the tap than the brewery itself. For those who really want a piece of Milwaukee, have a few frosty cold ones, then climb into Bernie's Chalet from the Brewer's old County Stadium and slide, baby, slide.
