Wonderful Food Beautiful Atmosphere. My husband is wonderful, he took me out to The Anchorage for our Anniversary! Everything was perfect from the time we were seated til the time we recieved the check. btw they seated us along the windows, we had a marvelous view of the river and wildlife at sunset. To all the Men out there reading: if you want to take out the lovely lady in your life for a fantastic and romantic dinner the Anchorage is the place to be. I had the walleye mei de paine ( i think thats how its spelled...lol!!) it has a mustard sauce and pecan crusted then pan fried....aww...so good my taste buds were in heaven!!! Give them a chance...we did and we loved it....now we go at least 3 times a month for brunch dinner or just a drink!!! we are lifers!!! Keep up the good work Sandy!!!

What a Great Place!!!. I recently had lunch at The Anchorage and the service and the food was just great. I have always been impressed with the top quality service and food every time I have been here. The view of the river is also a big treat.

Perfect place for seafood. This is an overall excellent restaurant. Great menu, exceptional service with detail given to presentation, and convenient location. Whenever I go out on a date with someone, I take her out to this restaurant, and they always tell me how much they love it! Some of our favorites are the pan seared Stuffed Flounder with frizzled mint and a touch of ginger (which goes perfect with my favorite wine: Sauvignon Blanc) and the Chicken Marsala (the best in town) topped with a few pine nuts pairs perfectly with a Zinfandel! Trust me, no matter what you order you will be impressed.

Fantastic Food. We had friends in from out of town and decided to take them to the Anchorage Restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We had some very picky eaters in the group but everyone left saying it was fantastic and they would be back.

Warm Staff, Great Food. My husband and I went for dinner on date night, and were tickled with the selection of yummy looking seafood. I had the oysters and the stuff shrip, and it could not have been more perfect. We can't wait to go back. Also, the wait staff was very warm and personable...look forward to dining outside this summer - what a nice location!

Tasty seafood and great service!. I've had lunch and dinner at the Anchorage a half-dozen times over the past few years and consider it a hidden gem. The servers are seasoned and attentive, and they know well the menu & specials. I crave seafood and have had perfectly prepared bacon-wrapped scallops and grilled salmon (and side dishes) the last two visits. The riverside patio seating is also a nice option in the summer.

Great food/prices with a great view!. The Anchorage is certainly NOT your typical hotel restaurant by any means......it's in the Hilton Milwaukee River Hotel, and is a great destination restaurant providing great meals in a unique setting at very affordable prices! Outstanding views of the scenic Milwaukee River are matched with their many signature seafood entrees such as Anchorage Scallops, Grilled Salmon, and Thai Marlin! Steaks, chops, and pastas are also available for those preferring different selections. The Anchorage also has Patio dining for the summer months! Looking for something different, yet something familiar? Revisit an old favorite.....you will not be disappointed!

Prices far exceed the value.. I expected a great deal from the Anchorage. I read an old review done by Dennis Getto, Journal Sentinel and thought it would be a good choice to celebrate Father's day. I think it was a very old review.

Anchorage doesn't live up to the review or its prices. The food is unappealing. Each person in our group ordered something different. They were all unappealing, if not disappointing. The dessert got the only satisfactory rating.

I will not go to the Anchorage again.
