Classic Diner!. Classic diner... I hope it never changes. The breakfasts are delicious and reasonably priced... two eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, toast for $4.25. How can you do better than that? The gals who serve you while you're bellied up to the vinatage counter-in-the-round are real salt-of-the-earth types and great at what they do. The burgers are delicious with grilled onions upon request and grilled buns. Homemade soup... Chicken Dumpling on Thursdays! THE BEST MALTS in the city!!! An absolute CLASSIC!

Never fails to impress me!. Ted's has been around Wauwatosa for many, many years. The service is personable. All of the employees act as if you've been great friends for years. It's a casual resturant with classic bar seating, 3 tables and one booth. I don't mind going alone and my family goes all of the time. The food is very good, and not too greasy. The soup of the day usually has a very just-like-mom's taste.

Ted's was voted best malts in Milwaukee by Milwaukee Magaziene. I've gotten a chocolate malt every time that I go since I was five years old. A great place to have a casual, relaxing meal.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!. I showed up at 11:34am and asked if I could still get breakfast. The waitress replied to me in a curt manner, "Sorry, breakfast stops at 11:30, drive faster next time." I had no problem with the fact that I could not get breakfast, but the attitude of the waitress was completely unacceptable. I left and when I got home I called the owner and tried to explain what happened. She would not even let me finish my explanation before she cut me off and said that I was being overly sensitive, after all they've "been in the business for 64 years and know a thing or two about customer service". I couldn't believe the inhospitable attitude that she demonstrated. I will never go there again.
