I worked as an auto mechanic in high school and my brother has been one for 20+ years so I know a little bit about then. And I would like to thank the guys at Voline for being old school and caring
about your customers.
Today I had the girlfriend to to stop to get the small tire fixed for our snowblower seeing how it's the first snowfall and I just noticed it was flat. It was off the snowblower and a big 10-12 inches in diameter so easy for her to handle. I figured it probably just needed air and anyplace could do that so having taken my truck to O'Gorman's once with mixed feelings about that place but figured they would help her.
WRONG! O'Gorman's told her they don't work on those and sent her up the street to the gas station to air it up. Even I know that a cheap gas station compressor won't have enough air to seat a tire. So after she was frustrated twice now she called me.
Going out on a limb I told her to try Voline. Now I had called to have my truck worked on before O'Gorman's this summer but they couldn't fit me in that week. Boy how I wish I would have waited.
The girlfirend said the guy at Voline was super nice, aired it up in 10 seconds, didn't charge her, and joked with her that she shouldn't drive on the highway with it. Thank you so much for saving my rear and not being the 3rd strike! I know next time I will wait to have you work on our vehicles just from this simple act and 10 seconds of your time.
I should have known better. I worked for the shop in town that didn't look the nicest and was smaller but we seldom had customers leave us for one of the others. My brother works for the same type of shop and Voline also appears to be this type where the customers really do come first.…
