Ignore the shill, this is the worst Bally's in the Midwest..
There isn't a detail which is right about this Bally's location. You notice it when you try to park at the location, which is crammed in
the lot with CBS 58 and a daycare, which eat up several premium parking spots at a location which is chronically overcrowded.
It must be the same principle which affords airlines the opportunity to overbook for every domestic and international flight that causes this Bally's to be suffocatingly overbooked and understaffed.
Despite the fact that machines are stacked so tightly into the workout floor area that one risks injury while walking between them, there is almost never a free eliptical or treadmill. That's complicated by the fact that there is always at least two of them which are not functioning. I recall more than one occasion where there were six treadmills out of order at one time.
But simple things, like the height of the TVs on the wall, which causes a guest to crane their neck no matter where they're working out in the facility. Compare the height to that of the Layton/Cudahy facility and you'll understand. Still, when at least one television is out every time I visit, and few are synched properly with the FM transmitter tags on the front of the TV, I guess it should not matter. (Continued)

This budget gym trims the fat off its patrons at streamlined facilities..
The Scene
Most Ballys stick to the basics for their design. Televisions broadcast silently above multiple rows of cardio
machines; mirrored walls act as the primary decorative components. But thanks to high-energy television ads and low-impact membership premiums, this national fitness chain has steadily attracted a clientele bent on saving money while losing weight or gaining muscle.
The Workout
Using fairly standard strength-training equipment and/or racks well-stocked with free weights, the best of the trainers here, who are classified at four different levels, can be as skillful as those found at costlier gyms. For group classes, signature exercise options include Spinning and Powerflex, as well as a number of patented routines inspired by Tae Kwon Do.
