Think galloping pigs, woolly sheep, contented cows, and prize-winning corn; that's the Wisconsin State Fair..
History
Each year the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis hosts the Wisconsin State Fair, blending the best of both rural and urban and entertaining folks for more than a century. In addition to the family-oriented farm exhibits, the Grandstand Shows provide great music on stages scattered around the fairgrounds. State Fair Park also hosts many other activities ranging from the United Indian Powwow to furniture sales, bike expos, and ski shows. If that doesn't satisfy your entertainment craving, plug your ears and dream of high octane as some of America's best racing roars around the asphalt on the track known as the Milwaukee Mile. NASCAR-sanctioned racing, car-crunching monster trucks displays, and high-adrenaline events are guaranteed to pump testosterone levels.
