Show at domes. I am not happy to find out that a special show was cannceled weeks ago. Looks like without noticed.
These domes milk nature for all its worth, offering visitors everything from jungles to deserts to tea gardens.
The Skinny
The Mitchell Park Domes may remind local wags of an excessively endowed exotic dancer, but technically the botanical gardens consist of three enormous domes, each with a different climate and personality.
What to See
The Show Dome offers rotating exhibits that change with the seasons, from a Japanese Tea Garden to a street scene out of Charles Dickens' London. The Arid Dome represents the deserts of the American Southwest, Africa, Madagascar, South Africa and Mexico with native cacti, palms and dry grasses. The Tropical Dome transports visitors to a humid rain forest.
Awesome. Too see all of those different animals and plants is amazing. You have to go there.
