Great GrandParents. Hello, Lori from Tacoma, WA here. My Great Grandparents started Kitt's in the 1950's. Their last name was Kittredge. That is how it got it's name. Can someone please comment on where or not it is still there?

shrimp dinners. I ordered 2 shrimp dinners and both me n my wife got sick. They don't de-vein thier shrimp!

Best Custard Around. Having grown up in Milwaukee and now living in Florida, there is no ice cream or custard place that I miss more than Kitt's. The frozen custard is some of the best that I've ever had! It was always a treat to go in the middle of winter to eat frozen custard in the car. The burgers and onion rings are fantastic also. When visiting family and friends back in Milwaukee, my trip almost always includes a trip to Kitt's for some of that great frozen custard that you just can't get down here in Florida very easily!!

Old Fashioned Drive-In. Kitts has walk up windows to place your order and get your food. You may eat at the picnic tables (warm weather) or in your car (all year). Be sure to try the hamburgers or cheese burgers and the hot fudge sunday. Fish dinners are not so highly recommended. Fries or onion rings are a good addition to the meal.
