Lazy and unprofessional – The maintenance and management staff has been unprofessional, lazy and unreliable.
Prior to our move in date we completed a walk through of the premises with the on site manager who verbally agreed to the maintenance that had to be done. The move in date came and went and the maintenance was not done.
We began cleaning of the apartment immediately and this took well over two weeks. The only cleaning and maintenance that had been done after the previous renters moved out was a vacuum job and painting. All wood frames and plastic fixtures on the wall have paint splattered and wiped all over. The vents were FILTHY. They had been painted over multiple times, they were bent, some would not open or close and they were coated with dust and animal hair. I had to shampoo the upstairs carpet once and the downstairs carpet twice. The blinds were so dirty they looked manila colored and after scrubbing them, it turned out they are white.
None of our screens were replaced until mid way though October. The windows are supposed to click in place and remain open when opened, but they slide down. The onsite manager told us he has been waiting for his windows to be fixed since he moved in. So it would probably be something we would just have to deal with. The new maintenance person sent in after I was finally able to track down the maintenance supervisor told me to prop them up.
The kitchen floor was peeling up. Again, something the on site manager was to have fixed prior to our moving in. Midway through October he simply glued down the floor, which he said he was told to do by his boss. As for the vents, the on site manager said he was told by his boss that he could replace them and should paint over them. He went to the store, according to him against his supervisor
Security deposit of $50 for garage opener was not returned to me despite returning it in an excellent condition. They do not give receipts for certain payments. I was told that the garage opener was like receipt and that returning it would allow me to get this deposit back.
The construction material is of low quality and they blame tenants for the condition of their apartments and deduct from security deposit.
Tenants' property in storage units has disappeared because their building managers cut locks (even tenants who stayed in the building without any payment issues) and put the material into trash outside, and said that homeless people took it.
Stay away from thie disrespectful, predatory and fraudulent andlord.
