Best of everything!. I have been taking my pets to Missy for over 20 yrs. My first cat and dog both lived to be 18 yrs. old, that is a good long time. I now have 2 dogs and 2 cats and wouldn't take them anywhere else. I have never had a problem yet and don't think that I will, but if I do I talk directly to Missy. Love everyone there!
BEST VETS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I had two cats that lived until 20 and 25 becuase of the care that Layton Animal Hospital gave them - I now have new kittens (6 mos old) and they are loved and cared for by the vets and staff as if they were their own - they are hands down the most caring vets and staff that I have ever experienced. Melissa is AWESOME and Dr. John loves my kittens so much that he actually HUGS them when we walk in for shots - again, hands down - most caring people I have ever worked with.
AWESOME!!!!.
Melissa the receptionist provided quality customer service...With a smile. Both receptionists were great!
Dr. John met and exceeded my expectations. I switched from my old vet that same day to Dr. John.
Best Vet I have had. I have been taking my dog here for three years, and so far I have been very pleased. I have used three different vets in the past, and this one has been the best so far. The veterinarians are very good with my dog and have correctly diagnosed her with various ailments. I have not experienced any of the bad service written in other reviews. Like I said, I have used other vets but had poor experiences with them overcharging/misdiagnosing my animals. This is the one veterinarian that I feel cares about my pet rather than making a buck.
Fine vets, questionable staff. I frequent this office for routine care, as it's near my home. The rates are a little high, but so is the convenience factor. There is one receptionist who seems to set a negative tone for the front office, which is too bad. But one sour apple does not a whole bushel make. I do not use these folks for emergency care, but rather than Animal Emergency Center, whom LAH recommends for after-hour emergencies. Now that place is exceptional, superb, sublime, in every way.
crappy vet services.
had been with this clinic for years and just having the female vet was a big mistake
we were mistreated with the way we talked to and was givin the wrong medication
and were shorted the perscrpition. The vet then was very rude and we will never go
back .... just be very careful with the female doctor the others are nice didn't have any problems with them......
Best practice out there. My pets have gone to Layton Animal Hospital since I've had them and the entire staff is very caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. Best vet I've ever gone to and is the only one I trust to care for my pets.
Good Vets. Poor Office Staff..
My family's 15-year-old dog has been visiting Layton Animal Hospital since puppyhood.
The Veterinarians themselves have always been GREAT.
The office staff, on the other hand, has deteriorated.
15 years ago, everyone was friendly and welcoming.
Recent visits with my aforementioned family dog and with my more recently-rescued dog have been far less than idea.
As mentioned earlier, the VETs are fabulous. They are great with both dogs and extremely knowledgable.
Unfortunately, you tend to spend more time interacting with the office staff - - - who leave A LOT to be desired.
They are disorganized, unfamiliar with their computer-system, frequently unfriendly and/or downright rude.
Sadly, due to this, I have decided to take my younger dog elsewhere.
Layton Animal Hospital. Layton Animal Hospital has exceptional people, quality and efficiency are a daily routine for these vets. Work well in emergencies, also have exceptional knowledge when it comes to dog and cats. On top of that it is very clean and in order. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to all.
If you love your pets do NOT take them here!!.
Absolutely the WORST vet Ive ever been to. They MISdiagnosed my cats pigment changes in their eyes as natural and "nothing to worry about" but upon visiting another vet I found out it was cancer. Both of my cats now have to have their right eyes removed and Im lucky that they arent dead!
They also completely botched my moms dogs tumor removal, they didnt put enough staples in to keep the wound closed so it opened and they blamed it on us. They also tried to get us to pay for an extra surgery to close the wound. The scar is horrible!
Rude receptionists as well, they will put you on hold for 10 minutes then act like youre an inconvenience . They dont greet you when you walk in the door and you have to wait FOREVER!
Basically all these vets want is money and they know they can get it. I feel bad for anyone who has taken their pets there with a serious concern, I highly reccommend getting a second opinion, for the safety of your pets!
