A greater tree selection than most forests.. The Scene
A family-owned business for over 50 years, Minor's has over 120 acres under cultivation at different areas around Milwaukee. At the 76th St. center, they have a number of large greenhouses and outdoor displays, plus a plain but well-stocked warehouse-style building filled with a broad selection of garden supplies. With its huge parking lot, Minor's is a good place to visit even on crowded spring and summer weekends.



The Goods
While Minor's has a large selection of perennials and annuals, its reputation for being Milwaukee's tree and shrub expert is uncontested. They have over 150 different varieties of fruit and foliage and nearly as many shrubs and small ornamentals, including unique specimens. Horticulturists on staff will help select a perfect tree or shrub for location and soil type and offer suggestions on planting and care. Minor's also carries trellises, garden accents, mulch and decorative stones for patios and garden walks.
