Editorial Review for Eddie Martini's – by Willard Romantini
The Scene
Nestled in the shadows of Milwaukee's medical complex, this 1940s-style supper club has carved a niche with its elegance and high quality. Rich woodwork, bright murals and sharply dressed, attentive servers provide a most inviting place to dine. The sound of Sinatra crooning in the background brings back memories of days gone by.
The Food
Steaks and ultra-fresh seafood are the draw. This is premium Midwestern beef, whether it be a massive porterhouse, a steer tenderloin or the famous New York strip au poivre smothered in cognac sauce. Seafood selections such as crispy blue crab cakes and seared ahi tuna are also first-rate, while specials like the boneless roast duckling are superb. Of course, with a name like Eddie Martini's, the cocktails and wine list are top-shelf as well.

The food is not as good as the hype (or the price!), but the atmosphere and service are excellent.

Eddie Martinis is one of the hallmark restaurants in the Milwaukee area. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is great. When the lamb chops are on the menu - be sure to get them as they are excellent. Also a good place to meet after work for a drink. Their martini menu is very good.
Pros: Good food quality with creative specials
