I am giving this place four stars solely based on the food, which is excellent. The service is bad and the drinks are bad but it doesn't matter because they're so damned cheap. Hell, I can handle a funny aftertaste in a $2.00 (large) pina colada. And the food really is very good. I would say that this has the best Indian food I've had, and unlike most places the portions are actually reasonably large. It's also nice that they put descriptions of the items in their menu so you don't have to nag the waiter and sound like an idiot because you don't know the difference between Alu Saag and Chana Masala (if you do know the difference you probably eat out way too often, are Indian, or are just a snob). The servers are a little lax on actually getting you your check no matter how many times you ask, so you may have to go up and nag at the bar. Otherwise this place is very good.
This is my favorite Indian place, well, anywhere! The food is so good, flavors and bold and fresh, and always right! I wish I could eat here every day, all day. Yum.
I tried three different curry dishes and they were all delicious. There isn't much I can say since you'd really have to go and try yourself!
It satisfies your Indian food cravings.
The food is mediocre. Their Shani paneer dish (on the buffett) is really nice. Their chicken/goat curry dishes are average. The naans are good. The gulab jamuns (spelling?) are really good and so is the mango ice cream. I could take it or leave it when faced with the choice of going here. But this is my husband's favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Its will satisfy your craving for Indian food, but there are better places....
The waitstaff are kind and the service is good and the price of the buffet is fair.
Don't waste your time. I got a gift certificate here and decided to get something different. We were seated quickly and the server was attentive, however he did not speak any English and he hovered over me which was very uncomfortable. The gift certificate did not say it had any exclusions, but they would not let us order many items if we wanted to pay with it. The food was rather bland and I was very disappointed.
