Thai food???. Really pretty little place but just glorified chinese food. Fish cakes to start were little circles of some gray matter deep fried, no fish I could see, served with a cucumber relish which was actually very good (this I could have had on its own as an appetizer) don't know if there was any fish involved at all. Main courses were shrimp fried rice with almonds, good but any chinese restaurant would serve this dish, you just get a lot more of it here, they serve family style.Other main dish was kanchu chicken, three bresat of deep fried VERY tough chicken over cabbage and a few carrots with a very typical sweet and sour sauce, the first few bites tasted very funky like it was re- heated, not good. Water was hard to come by but if you had a beer they were quick to ask if you needed a refill.. I think the menu is way too big to be fresh, it had way to many options, bad sign! Took home the left overs and threw them out. Going to keep going to viet-pho type places, really honest fresh food, super disappointed in this place as I saw quite a few good reviews.  View Less View More

Sadly after being a customer for 20+ years I won't be back. I have been a customer of Singha Thai for over 20 years and after going there last week I will never go back. The egg rolls were what I remeberred and the sweet n sour sauce is still good but that was it. I brought a restaurant com coupon and it was not good. I bought it that same day. I wasn't to upset about that I could understand how some miscomunication could happen so not a big deal. Orderred some of my old favorites including a beef salad served over a bed of cabbage, spring rolls, chicken salad served with leaf lettuce to make wraps, and chicken pad thai. I orderred for three people. The beef salad was bitter and greasy. The chicken tasted like it was precooked and several days old, spring rolls were premade soggy and seemed to be missing some ingredients. Instead of a bed of cabbage or a bunch of leaves of lettuce to make wraps. We received this insanely small portions of both and both were chopped. The beef should come with a fine shredded cabbage and the chicken with leaf lettuce to make wraps. Then they never even brought the Chicken Pad Thai. At least I can remember that for what it was. We came from out of state and just had to go hear. The service was dreadful. I left a lower percent tip than I have in years. I was prebussing the table myself. I had to stare down the waiter for five minutes to ask for leaf lettuce he brings out like three leaves and states that is all they had instock. If you've been hear and love it keep your good memories and don't bother going back. If you haven't don't bother.  View Less View More

Still going downhill. Ten or fifteen years ago this was one of the best Thai restaurants in Milwaukee and was included on the some of the Milwaukee Journal's top restaurants in Milwaukee listings at that time.

It is not an omission that this place no longer appears on any best of lists. The food quality is no longer as good, service is slow and unattentive, the server just leaves a carafe of water at the table and seldom returns after the main course is delivered, and the prices are higher than at comparable restaurants.

The last straw was when this place offered coupons which do not expire on restaurantcom beginning a couple of months ago, they still currently appear on that website, yet they have a notice on their door stating they no longer accept these coupons! Figured it was worth giving this place another try after seeing and purchasing this coupon. Needless to say we walked out after we confirmed that it is true that they no longer honor the coupon I just bought! Sometimes restaurants discontinue participation in restaurantcom or other discount programs, but reputable places still honor non expired coupons that customers still hold!  View Less

excellent!. I ate here for the first time on friday nd it was great. The food was delicious nd the service was good. I can't complain at all. What more can you really ask for: warm welcome, get your order taken, delicious food, then pay. I do recommend and will be going back.  View Less View More

Horrible service. we went there for din and the hostess was extremely unwelcoming. We felt like the staff couldn't care less that we were there. We will not go back to the restaurant and will not recommend this restaurant. They were extremely rude and that ruined the food and the experience.  View Less View More
