Flat Beer, Soggy Fries. Mediocre at best. The Sportsman's Fish Fry- Walleye, Perch and Blue Gill "Bring your appetite" I did, I'm still hungry. The smallest filets of each that I've ever seen.

First tap beer I ordered was FLAT, second- a different brew, just a bit better. I saw a similarly served Stella Artois but a proper Guinness. My fries had been sitting under the heat lamp and were soggy. And indeed the place is extremely noisy. No reason to go back.

Great Fish Fry. Excellent fish fry, all you can eat for $8.95. Drawbacks are that the place can be very loud, and if you go when there is some kind of sporting event going on, the service goes way downhill. I've been there when nothing was going on, and food was fresh & hot, but when I went during March basketball tournaments, the service was slow, and the food was cold. Overall, I'd go there for a lunchtime fish fry, but not sure about suppertime fish fry.

Skip on this Fish Fry. Nothing good to say about this fish fry.

- while not overly crowded, this place was super loud, hard for a family to carry on a conversation even though we were about 50 feet from the noisy bar.

-ordered drinks and waited a good 15 minutes to be served said drinks.

-ordered a variety of food, clam chowder was pasty, overly- thickened with flour and tasteless, sportsmen platter included 2 small bluegill and perch, really dry and a piece of walleye which was fishy, battered cod was so-so, both fish fries includes cardboard tasting fries, but suprisingly good cold slaw. The grilled shrimp with steamed veggies included 20 tiny salad size shrimp, some tasted moldy, and some super bland steamed veggies. Had to ask waitress for tartar sauce. What's up with that?

Don't let their heavy advertising fool you into thinking this is other than mediocre food served in a loud bar.

Alright place on weekday nights. Paragon is a nice place to go after work or after a ball game. On fridays and saturdays it gets very busy, but with more thugs than anything else. The games are good, but only one pool table really backs things up.

Decent Food, Really Slow Service. If you want incredibly SLOW service, this is your spot! On a recent visit, I ordered two drinks (one was a beer). 15 minutes later, no sign of our drinks. I had to walk to the bar to replace the order, despite the fact that the wait-person walked by the table 3 times after the initial order. Later we ordered potato skins. Last time I checked, potato skins always have bacon and (usually) chives. Our had neither - just cheese. They were warm, not hot. And when I emailed the owner with a polite complaint, I was told "you should have sent them back". Here's an option: Get the order right, and have the food be hot when served. I won't go back.

One of best places on West side of town!. If you have only driven by on HY 100 like I have for years, you're missing a great place. Big and clean inside, sort of like a giant up north place with the woodwork, a mellow middle and upper middle class crowd around happy hour, great food, excellent bartenders and owner. Meet up here after work or for lunch. On par with the better downtown places but more affordable.

Good Bar Food. Nice atmosphere, lots of great food. I didn't think the service was all that great. I've been here twice and both times the waitress is slow. Could have been the same one. If you dont mind waiting for you food and beer, try it out.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Locals flock to the venue to host events including holiday parties and rehearsals as catering is offered.
