I joined this school for a short term and I felt totally ripped off. Martial arts should be taught by competent instructors.

I highly recommend this place. A great school that offers the premier kung fu program in wisconsin. This is the real kung fu, not the flowery wushu or illegitimate lineages taught at other area schools. The instructor, Jeff Nickel is a man of integrity and great martial prowess. Forget the rest, train with the best at the Chinese Kung Fu Center located at 2120 Clybourn Ave. Milwaukee, WI

I am not amazed by this school. Instructors are self-learned and it's evident they never mastered kung fu.

Their curriculum doesn't teach power training, speed drills, fighting theory, and self-defense sparring practice..... and they call it traditional shoaling kung fu?

The school building is a drawback too since it lacks of training equipment, it has no lockers, no showers, no heating, no air conditioning, and it's located in a bad neighborhood too.

Bogus school. The Chinese Kung Fu Center is a bogus school. Its instructors are not certified or qualified. They claim a false and illegal lineage heritage accreditation to a Chinese Grand Master. They are just into money. Don't let them fool you!

Not good at all. Mr. Nickels claims to teach the Kung of Grandmaster Yin but does not follow the principals that were taught. Therefore the Kung Fu is not the spirit of the teachings of the Grandmaster. Mr. Nickel forced the closure of the original school and brought much stress and harm to the Grandmaster's wife which reflects the lack of respect for the legacy of the Grandmaster and the system of kung fu he taught. To Grandmaster Yin, being honorable, sincere, trustworthy were the important qualities of his Kung Fu teaching. The history of this school: The Chinese Kung Fu Center was founded by Grandmaster Yin. After his death it was continued through the efforts of his oldest students. In time, one student, Mr. Jeff Nickel, made accusations towards several students and it came to light, through an accountant examining the financial records, that it was Jeff who was inappropriate with the books. The oldest students found out that there was a liability to them, for Jeff's business practices. They hired an attorney and attempted to ... The oldest students found out that there was a liability to them, for Jeff's business practices. They hired an attorney and attempted to sell the business to Mrs. Yin, the Grandmaster's wife, for $10. This would protect her in the future, but the sale did not go through due to the games and influence of Jeff. The oldest students, under the advice of the attorney, closed the business called 'Chinese Kung Fu Center'. Jeff opened a business calling it the same name as the old. In a short time, he kicked out Mrs. Yin. Mrs. Yin, with the help of the older students, filed a law suit against Jeff to get her property from the Chinese Kung Fu Center. This is verified by court records: wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl (hit I agree) Type in Chinese Kung Fu Center, or case number 2005SC028625, Milwaukee county.

Awful school. Awful school with a poor training program. No self-defense applications are taught and no sparring is practice there.

Subaverage facility without equipment and without lockers.

Unfair price discriminations among students are also applied there.

Don't waste time and money there....you deserve better than that.

Kung fu basics at a cheap price. This school teaches northern shaolin kung fu at a cheap price. If you are a beginner it's a good place to learn kung fu basics. However, for an intermediate of advanced student I would not recommended it since they only teaches kung fu basics and forms without applications.

This school lacks also of sparring training that should an essential part of any kung fu system.
