Editorial Review for Milwaukee Museum Center – by Peter Behle

Discovery World
Touted as one of the country's best interactive museums, this bright and colorful spot turns learning into engaging play for kids of all ages--visitors can make their own polymer slime, become weather forecasters and plan how to earn their first million in the same visit.

Milwaukee Public Museum
The Peulicher Butterfly Wing is a favorite stop with domestic and exotic butterfly species flying in a warm-and-humid special glass-enclosed garden. While you're there, learn how to attract them to your own garden or check out the "Wall of Diversity," which features over 1,000 species of butterflies and moths. The "Sense of Wonder" exhibit arranges specimens according to size with a 36-foot-long humpback whale skeleton as the grand finale. There's no shortage of things to do and see at this educational child pleaser.

I have been visiting that museum for over 60 years since I was a child and it has only gone through one change and it's called improvement. The educational challenges presented at our museum are absolutely outstanding particularly for the children, as well as, the adults.

Pros: inexpensive, superior displays, convenient location
