Great for families!. Its hrd enough to take the whole family out for a night at the movies in todays economy! But with the budget, its possible! Please don't get rid of it! I have been going there since I was 12, I'm 34 now and take my kids! We love and glad its there and affordable, we don't take it for granted, we know what a good thing we got!

The Budget Theater. I can't believe what I heard that they are tearing down the budget cinema. There are so many condos and apartment buildings out there right now that are not being rented because people cant afford to, but yes lets build another (as said with sarcasm) With the economy being the way it is this place was one of few places anyone could go to have an affordable evening out. Yes you can watch movies at home by renting them, but you've got to get out of the house once in a while too. It's more fun watching a movie on the big screen also.

the only way you can afford to go to a regular theater is if you have a really good job. Just for two people it turns into a forty dollar night. You just can't afford it. Please reconsider this awful deed and don't tear down the cinema.

Best Movie Theatre. I cannot believe they are tearing down this movie theatre in such a critical time in the economy. The cheap concessions are mouth watering and the movies are only $1 on tuesday. What a good deal!

DONT CLOSE THE BUDGET THEATER. Its a great place to meet with friends and family for an inexpensive night out in this poor economy of ours. Its a great location. Near the freeway and on Hwy 100. The popcorn is the best in town. The atmosphere is very down to earth and comfortable. We don't need any more condos, but we need the cinema.

Please don't tear it down.

Are You Crazzy To Tearr down!!!. I've been going there since as long as i can remember with my family and i still go to this day. Sometimes my wife and i go when we have an afternoon to ourselves and i also go with my brothers. Occasionally i go with my mom. SO PLEASE DON'T TEAR DOWN THE BUDGET!!! It means so much to me and clearly others who don't or can't afford to always get that theater time with the whole family. Lets face it, its expensive to take you the wife and four kids to a regular theater at almost $10 a head plus snacks.

DON'T MAKE A HUGE MISTAKE! DON'T TEAR IT DOWN!. Please don't tear one of the only theaters around that people in a recession can afford! I love that I can go on a date with my husband without spending a fortune. We still get to see fairly new movies and we can afford popcorn with these cheaper movies. And with him being out of work this is truly a treat. I am sure there are so many more people in the same situation, where they have lost jobs, and can't afford much. This is such a great deal. We don't need any more empty condos or empty office spaces. I know this theater does well, becauase, like another reviewer stated 'there is always a line to get in'. You are making a big mistake by tearing this down. So many people will be disappointed if it really does happen! DON'T DO IT!!!

Love it!!! Travesty of Justice to tear down. I was just checking movie times because the only time I ever get to go to the movies is when I come home! Literally, I live in Minneapolis and am no where near a budget movie theatre and the only time I ever get to go to the movies is when I come to Milw to see my family. My mom or dad watch my son and my husband and I get to go on a date to the movies. It's the best theatre, I've been going there since I was a kid and I am sure when my son is old enough I will be able to take him there too. If you are hurting for money that bad raise the price to $3 or something but every time I have ever been there I have had to wait in line outside to get tickets the line is so long. It would be a travesty of justice to tear this down when people are in need of budget friendly outings.

I don't understand why you would concider tearing down this show house. Sure we could wait a little longer until we can rent it and watch it at home but it's the fun of going out and doing something with the family. I love watching some movies on a big screen. I don't have alot of money and I love taking my grandchild to the show. (one that I can afford). Like we need another apartment complex. Is everything have to be about making money? What happen to families wanting to do things together? You know yourself that there isn't to much out there to do, especially for families that don't have alot of money. It's a nice time out for families. Is it the owner of the showhouse that is in it for the money? Of course he has money, where does he take his family? Or is it the city that wants to do away with it? Whatever the case, its a big mistake. A very disappointed grandmother.

STOP YOR MAKING A MISTAKE!!!!!!!. oh my god!!!!! i can not believe they are actually considering this. This place is cheap and nice, and it is especially good for me to bring my kids. I don't have to worry about spending so much money on food. I live on the north side of milwaukee, and i come to this movie theather often. So, this must really mean we love this movie theather especially they way gas prices have been. I just hope they would really look into this and consider who and how many people this could affect.

p.s. we don't need more condo's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need more family time!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT THIS PLACE WAS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY!

DON'T TEAR DOWN THIS THEATRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO STOP THIS. IT NEEDS TO BE PETITIONED OR WE ARE ALL IN SERIOUS DANGER OF THIS BEING TORN DOWN VERY VERY SOON!!!! SPOKE WITH THE PEOPLE AT BUDGET AND THEY ARE TEARING IT DOWN IN THE NEXT COUPLE MONTHS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with what you said. The theatre should not be torn down and I wish we could get people to stand up and petition these stupid condos. There are so many other places to build damn condos!!! They don't need to tear down the only theatre that people still can afford with the economy the way it is.
