Walkers and joggers crowd the wide paths along tree-lined Lake Drive as seagulls glide overhead. On the lake, sleek watercrafts cut through the crisp waters of Lake Michigan.

What to Do
Bicyclists can explore the 8.9-mile bike trail that begins at Gordon Park and stretches through Veterans Park and along McKinley and Bradford beaches. Watch rugby matches, build sand castles, take a refreshing dip in the lake, or just throw down a towel, lie back and do some cloud-watching.
