The Scene
When the owners Il Mito (Italian for "The Myth") relocated from Los Angeles, they painted the galaxy on their new ceiling. This stellar ceiling art and soaring windows lend the interior of this restored, Walker's Point building an outdoorsy feel even in mid-winter.
The Food
Fresh herbs, extra-virgin olive oil, and a creative approach to seasoning enliven Il Mito's marinara sauce, making the meat dishes and eggplant appetizer fabulous. However, the seafood tortellini's delicate, chowder-style sauce falls victim to too much cardamom. For dessert, the tiramisu is a true indulgence: It has more cream than cake and is drenched in chocolate, mocha, raspberry and burnt-sugar syrups.

The best in the city - wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere. It doesn't get any better than this! If you haven't discovered IL MITO give it a try - you wont regret it.

When to Go:
There is no lunch menu, and the service can be slow during a rush.
Look Good:
Check out the list of house wines. The Sangiovesi makes a nice choice in the reds.
Parking:
It's a hike from the parking lot to the door, so you might want to drop off your guests then park.
