The Scene
The County Historical Society is housed in a beautiful 19th-century building that was formerly the Second Ward Savings Bank. Across the street, Pere Marquette Park's picturesque lawns meet the Milwaukee River, making the setting almost as compelling as the Society itself.

Two floors of exhibits detail the region's ethnic heritages, banking history, and other diverse topics.

The library holds thousands of manuscripts and books that keep researchers circulating through the stacks.
